Banging tune that Howard... 😂. Great photos, looks like you had a productive trip. And having selected your kit you're off to la belle France, tres bon. Enjoy.
Lovely to be along with you on the trip. I trod those paths down to the beach a couple of years ago, got some drone shots of Seahouses. Looks like you had a good trip and got some some excellent images as usual.
Nice little adventure. Can't wait to start our own when the van's finished.
Hi Howard, hope you are well, I'm in the process of choosing a poptop as I embark on my first build. Can I ask what make you went for? Just been revisiting your videos to build my confidence in doing stuff myself
Hello Chris. I went for the Reimo roof which I have had no problems with. It was the most expensive part of my build. The fitter did have problems fitting it and I would not recommend them, this is why I haven't names them. I think that it's worth having a good quality roof as it make a great deal of difference to the noise level whist driving and the sound and noise insulation in general use. Good luck with your build.
Obviously it's all done now. But don't understand why you didn't think of making the shelf removable where you were intending to put your battery. The original place you were putting it was obviously the best place
In your pop up bed. Notice you've got some down ights. I wanted some in mune. Just wondering how you've done that with the connections & cables underneath your mattress
The bed base is hinged at about two thirds the way towards the back and I ran the cables along the hing line using the hinge itself as a guide and a line to hide behind. The light fittings and connectors fit within a small aperture hole that I drilled through the base and they don't protrude at all. I then used heavy duty tape to hold the wires in place and this seems to have worked very well.
Wow that's a faff on Vw to put r&r bed in Ive got Renault trafic 2019 lwb premier edition. All you have to do is remove spare wheel. Where I bought mine from. Free fitting taking 30 mins
Yes, it took quite some time on the VW. 30mins is really quick.
Time to sell it at a profit and go again😂
It's a thought. I am though enjoying using the van at the moment; recent trips to Northumberland and Scotland have been very enjoyable.. I think that I am going to do a series of videos of some of my trips out and the photographs I take on those trips. My next project might be refurbishing and old vehicle of some sort.
Wondered where you'd got too.....all your videos disappeared and I had nothing to reference 😂
I'm really pleased that they might be of some use to you.
