Black Viper Of Death

Добавлен 8 июл 2011
A chill channel, where I play video games, and share the fun with you! I'm always open to suggestions, and whenever there's a video, I usually have it at noon CST.
Dark Souls (Ep 05) - This is Halloween?
I visit a spooky graveyard full of un-death, curl up like a ball to face an overwhelming obstacle, and then get into a poison-infested area. Fun times.

I love how soothing the video feels, with delicate music and the pleasant voice of our calm, mild looking narrator, introducing himself with "Hello everybody. I am BLACK VIPER OF DEATH" oh, and thanks for the tips! very useful and exhaustive!
This is just what i needed! I just did 2 sessions with roll20 as a new DM and it was so painful, but videos like these should make my next session much easier if i do a few min of prep using your guides. Thanks!
Gave up looking for hand of god in video...cool game otherwise
This was soothing to watch. Nice.
Hoi
BAPFALO
cool. love that you're back
Ooh!!! Yes! I love board games. If you have pandemic you should play with a friend. Ooh or maybe something else. That sounds amazing!
He's back baybeeeeee
blanktester I was just about to share this vid with you! I'm so excited for new videos!
man you're so chill to listen too, good choice of music too
i think you should play... spiderman 2 for the pc
Eh, Fallout 4 isn't worth your time. Everyone has played Skyrim. Rage games could be interesting to watch, but only if you think you'd be into it. I'd be interested in seeing you do self-imposed challenge runs, like nuzlocke runs or whatever. Bloodborne would be my pick out of the ones you listed. Have you ever played the XCOM games? I love playing those on Ironman mode.
Sorry about the random cut off in this video, plus the weird sync issue. I'll post the full video shortly.
When do you and your friends play tabletop games? And what system(s) do you/have you used?
We play on Friday nights (6-9P CST), and currently we're using 5e and CthulhuTech on alternating weeks. In the past, we've done 4e, 3e, 2e, 1e, Star Wars, Mutants and Masterminds (2e), Savage Worlds, Stargate, Hackmaster, Everquest, and I'm sure there's others.
I'd be interested in seeing some roll20 stuff. I've been meaning to learn how to use it for a while now, and it might be good to see it in action.
Just what I need to know in simple words. Thank you very much.
The line of code to have players roll physical dice for initiative was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
MY BOY IS BACC
DO OSU PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ WEN YOU COME BACK ID LOVE TO SEE OSU AND IM SORRY YOU LEFT BUT WE;LL WELCOME U BACK WHEN YOUR READY
Was struggling with monster initiative last game so this is a great tip, thanks a lot!
Thanks! Glad it helped!
I have a question it doesn't allow me to use token macro so when I click on the token it doesn't give me the option just wanted to know if I could fix that
CrAzY GreEn It should be under the token settings, in the macro, "show when selected" or something similar.
Black Viper Of Death thank you very much its working now
A world like that can be a great idea for a rpg session :
Good vid
This was deep schit man, i needed this
Glad to hear it, thanks!
i LOVE your ASMR letsplay's!
Thanks! Glad you like it! I actually forgot that I played this, but I can tell it's before I started adjusting the light settings in my camera.
ayo FLIP the haters, u keep being u man, remember to always count ur stars
Thanks! I actually recorded a vlog today talking about haters. That'll be on Sunday, like the other vlogs. Thanks for supporting me!
Press triangle if you make a mistake during deck building. If you hit that before closing the menu, you can undo whatever you did. Lucky it was a bot match and they make dumb decisions. Try a high mana regen for fey with medium damage. Spamming her slow and aoe at the same time will destroy most people.
Thanks. I know the undo button, but not useful if I realize it after I close it. Oh well. I'll have to try a more mana regen focus, and see if I like it. I do have an Overflowing Gifts that I could use in combination with a support role.
Also, Spike is bad-ass. Good icon!
agora.gg/deck/71407/the-fey-custom-deck, This is what I use. Can be tweaked for more power instead of armor or more regen instead of power. I personally prefer the armor just for a teamfight. blast all your aoe/ult right under you and try to slow them while being able to take a few extra hits can be a game changer.
One more thing - I've tried to contact boogie2988, maybe with some luck he'll read my message and help you out a little :>
Hey Viper :P I think, you might try to advertise your channel around on some forums and websites etc. Also, you should try to make a bit shorter videos - I think people are too lazy to watch longer ones. Another thing is : videos with tips (I've found you because of a roll20 tutorial vid!). So maybe more tabletop vid would be good and some "popular" games like League of Legends, Civilization 6/5, maybe Guild Wars 2. Good luck :) PS. about size of files - you can use a program called HandBreake - it will decrease size really well!
Yeah, this video in particular was a lot longer than I wanted. I'm glad you liked the Roll20 video. I haven't made any more yet since I haven't GMed for a while, but if I can think up another video, I'll be sure to post it. Or if you're having troubles with something in Roll20, let me know, and I can make a video for that. I haven't thought about Guild Wars 2. For that, I could either use a character I've worked with so far, or create a new one specifically for the channel. But I imagine GW2 would have long videos (unless I cut out something). I'll have to check out the program you mentioned. I'm not sure how much more compression can be done with videos, but it's worth a look. Thanks!
Looks like the program runs on Vista or later, and I use Windows 7 (which I'm pretty happy with). I may have to look at Sony Movie Studio to see if there are any settings to optimize. Of course, shorter videos would definitely help. I'll have to think about how I edit, and what I keep in videos.
Win 7 is later than Vista, I have it too, and program works! :P
Oops, I forgot my order of OS.
Looks like it works pretty well, thanks! Look forward to next week, I've already got one short video, and I'll be working on more soon.
Another thing is - those kind of videos and vlogs are something I've always wanted to do, but I was too scared. It's a really great idea for sharing your feelings and becoming a better person in all. Looking foward to see more of those!
Thanks. I'm glad you enjoy the vlogs so far. It's a sort of general purpose weekly video where I can answer questions, talk about how my channel is going, and life in general. With your own vlog, lust remember, you can add whatever you want. There's plenty that I leave out. Just say what you're comfortable sharing.
I"ve been trough almost the same story, only difference is, I was seeing the girl for a while but it ended up her hating me over nothing. Sometimes it's better off not trying too hard. I'm sure someone will show up in your life when you won't expect it, don't worry, people are weird :)
Great to hear that you're happy, good luck! :)
Congrats on encountering the hidden boss battle. This hidden boss uses the Eclipse Moon Style that is reserved bosses and is not for player use but you might want to check out one of the alternate character routes that plays with that concept if you're curious. And while on the topic of alternate routes, Neko Arc also has another alternate story mode like Riesbyfe so you may want to check them out while we are on the roll with the lighthearted goofy story modes as they might seem out of place when you go back to the serious storylines that you missed. The alternate routes appear randomly when selecting a character's story mode so just enter and exit a couple of times until you get a new story.
You don't need to get all the endings in the ending list to get the epilogue, you just need to get all the Routes. All Routes usually have a Good Ending and a True Ending so if you divide the ending list by 2 you will roughly get the needed number of endings to unlock the epilogue. Also, with the exception of Arcueid and Ciel Routes which are roughly the similar due their stories being pretty much the same just from the other side, the other routes are so very different that they might as well be a different story. That is why all the other Let's Plays of Tsukihime separates the playthrough by Routes and there's no such thing as "Bonus Episodes" because the "Near Side of the Moon" Routes are completely different from the "Far Side of the Moon" Routes. Meaning they're not "extra" but a fully fledged complete and different story.
Ok, that's good to know. Thanks. Also, didn't know other people did let's plays of this. Ha ha. I don't mind being different. I've seen some channels only do one playthrough, hence the "bonus" episodes.
Looks like I've underestimated the game design and forgot to factor in the player's curiosity as a gamer. Since it's been too long since I've played this and I've only looked at how improbable it is to consistently pick those kind of choices. It seems you really don't need any help at all in completely finishing this game since it has enough design elements to bring you on the right track. Now I realize why not all of the choices has been unlocked from when you first finished it as it is most likely done on purpose. Even this exact choice right here that you're asking, it's pretty obvious who you should pick. If you're gonna be a jerk to a powerful vampire, isn't it kinda obvious to pick someone who can at least rival her? For all you know, out of all the person in those choices, there's one acting suspicious. And using the knowledge you obtained in the first playthrough, it's not that hard to imagine that there is one in those choices who could have drove the familiar away and is hostile enough to the one who sent it to do so. That person could have been testing the waters probing where your allegiance lies and to what extent. If you're looking for alliance then it may send the message across. Though the magically appearing belt may throw off that line of thinking so it's just a theory... a g*me theory lol.
It seems like the additional choices are not showing up. I haven't played this game in a long time so maybe I just assumed that everything will all be unlocked after finishing the game just once. There may be an order to finishing some routes so I guess for now you can try some things like going for Arcuied's Good Ending or (spoiler) try siding with her rival and be a jerk to her just enough to not get a bad end. I'm only telling you about this one hint because out of all the routes, this one is probably the least likely that you might stumble upon unless you have that sudden urge to be a consistent and deliberate jerk to someone for no particular reason and especially to the one who you owe something to in the first place.
First I would like to say that the overall story is only less than half finished. You seem to be under the impression that the "main" story is finished and all that's left are extras but it's really more of Arcueid's "part" of the overall story the only one that is done. The other routes can offer far more story from a different perspective. It's not one main storyline with a few extras but a bunch of completely different storylines that can have varying degrees of difference from one another. You haven't really fully completed Tsukihime until you finished all the routes which is indicated by the Epilogue being unlocked from the menu. To put in perspective how much you lack in completion, the story of Tsukihime in this one game alone is roughly divided into the 'Near Side of the Moon' and 'Far Side of the Moon' general storylines which drastically differ from each other. And even then the routes under them can also vary from each other so it's not about having completed the whole story just with a few extra stories left but rather like finishing only one chapter of a book. And even though I said before that I'll tell you how to get to a specific route after this, I thought that I would be ruin the experience of finding things out so I'll probably refrain from doing so unless needed. Also, you usually obtain either True Ending and Good Ending after finishing a particular Route but it can go either way so it's up to you if you want to complete all of this. The main important thing is to complete are all of the main Routes which is for the most part different stories and then unlocking the Epilogue with symbolizes the end of the story for this game.
Oh, ok, thanks.
If you've already read the dialogue then it can be skipped, otherwise it will stop fast forwarding. You can use this knowledge to your advantage in checking a lot of things. Though I won't tell you about how the system deals with the choices you make because part of the gaming aspect of this is finding that out for yourself. And just a clarification in Ciel-sensei's Lesson, she was referring to the three different ways that you can get to this specific bad end rather than you thinking that you have to meet the three requirements to achieve it. So choose the one that is the most likely culprit that brought you to this end rather than thinking that you have to do all those things to get the bad end.
I misinterpreted that then. I thought she was giving a hint on how to proceed.
Wow....amazing did not know this thank you def subscribing!
Thanks! Unfortunately this is my only Tip & Trick video so far, but hopefully I can make some more useful tutorials for everyone.
I hope so too!
I see that you're having moral issues regarding your choices in Tsukihime. Personally, I'd say don't let that bother you too much as your actions in a game does not always translate to your real life, otherwise we'd all be mass murderers if we've ever played any shooter games or are advocates of violence if we play any fighting games. And even if your initial playthrough rule was to mimic and reflect your own real life choices, your choice in that particular incident can be considered an honest mistake because you simply misunderstood what was happening. No need to feel guilty about it and make it sound like you're too defensive especially when you've decided at the start that you would stick with your decisions no matter the outcome. That being said, I don't mind if you did change your choice because it's a game and it's just normal to play it like one. In the next playthrough, you'd be deliberately choosing the options that would influence outcome that you desire anyway. And in Melty Blood, it's nice to see that you now appreciate the game more by knowing the story behind it. The next character routes have more reference to the previous stories so you will benefit from having these knowledge. Also, ArkSys broke some of the AI when porting it to Steam. I wish they'd just left the AI code alone if they would just break it.
It was all about the brother/sister thing. On further reflection, it didn't feel like a choice that Tohno would have made, which is why I changed it to Arcuid. At least he has a reason to like her. I wanted to not go back, but I feel the change to Arcuid was actually better for the story (even if I didn't show the full change of dialog).
Incest is messed up but so is anything else in gaming when you think about it. You murder countless opponents in shooters, solve problems through violence and death in many video games. Any media can depict deplorable and sometimes downright disgusting acts like torture and mutilation. Again, these does not reflect who you are as a person in real life. It's the age old mentality that is used by main stream media to ridicule gamers and treat them like some morally bankrupt individuals for liking or playing "violent video games". If you are to consider murder and violence as "okay" in these stories then why does the other obviously deplorable acts suddenly become "not okay" when _all_ of these acts are something you would classify as "not good" anyway? It sounds very hypocritical. If you are going with the reasoning that there are tiers of "badness" that you would classify as not acceptable then incest which have the chance of being consensual is nothing compared to the act of murder which is always violates the greatest taboo of taking a person's life. Though I agree that storywise Arcueid is a better fit considering the events that took place, I was under the impression that you were going for _your_ own choices and not necessarily that of the character and that you wont regret your decisions no matter what the outcome is. And in this incident you understandably made a mistake but up till now you stood by your decisions and unless it was a dead end in the scenario you didn't take back your decisions.
Out of the three, I'd probably pick Arcuid too :) Other than that one change, I'm still going to try to keep my choices unless a dead end occurs. Otherwise I'd never get anywhere.
There will be additional choices after your first playthrough so that you can steer the story more on your subsequent playthroughs. Though if you want to follow the order like what you have been doing with Melty Blood, then on your second playthrough -minor spoiler- continue to intentionally guide the general story and make it similar to your first one except for some details that I'll tell later after you've gone far enough in the story.
Thanks for pointing out today's audio issue. The latest episode is now online (finally). ruclips.net/video/N2aC8blF_PQ/видео.html
And by that, I mean the fixed version.
Sebastian Krist As a lil data, manual of game describes him as someone sadistic, a former studio producer before a scandal drove him mad. And lemme tell you a deal.......NME is gonna be a tough one.
It's not that easy to get the secret boss. You must at least manage to get a score of 2,500,000+ by stage 7 or you'll most likely not get it. The crucial element seem to be the time and Arc Drive finish as well as the Perfect because they add to the score quite significantly. Notice how you get an additional modifier called Perfect which is +1,500 by itself aside from the 3 usual score modifiers at the end of each round? These score modifiers can be viewed at the end of each round if you don't press anything to skip it. You don't have to do a Blood Heat Another Arc Drive finish if you can compensate it with a normal Arc Drive finish together with the time remaining at around 70 seconds left after defeating an opponent. Or rather, the time modifier is a valuable component in of itself that it might most likely be the major element that will prevent you from reaching your minimum score requirement. You can miss some Arc Drive finish or Perfects as long as your score reaches a certain threshold by at least stage 7 though I'm not sure if it's also character dependent so the minimum stage might be different for some characters.
It's pronounced as Nero and it has an interesting story behind it based on real life. In the story the number of beast he has is 666 which you'd think is obvious where the inspiration of the character comes from. But the author is surprisingly more knowledgeable than that. In real life the number of 666 which we normally attribute to the devil actually comes from Hebrew at the time of Emperor Nero's alleged arson which he is infamous for up to this day. The people hated him but can't express it openly especially in writing unless they want to suffer the punishment so they made a code by converting the letters of his name to numbers in Hebrew of which then they proclaim was the number of the beast. And since the Bible was made up of the stories collected from that time the translation for it changed over time and the beast was associated with the devil and the numbers were translated to the numbers we use today. So the written name may be garbled but we pronounce who it is referring to. Also since the game does not have voice over, its nice to hear someone read it out loud like that.
Ok. I'll make that mistake again next week, as I already recorded, but I'll keep that in mind. It is fun to call him Neverskiversk though...
It's okay, call him whatever you want. I just said that just in case you want to know how it is pronounced.
The commentaries are getting funnier. I don't want to comment often and especially on what's happening to avoid influencing your opinion but rest assured that I am entertained. I'll probably limit my comments to vague hints on getting to a specific route sometime further along the story. Not that you really need one anyways so just ignore it if you don't need it, I'll put a spoiler warning when I post it. If you already finished the whole route in one recording then looks like I'm too late then.
DanPat eh.. "It's just a theory" but I like it so you're welcome :D. The Mystic Eye Killer literally describes what it is. It kills or negates the functions of Mystic Eyes like the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. And about Aoko's sister, well she's in another story called Kara no Kyoukai. If you're ever going to include a Let's Watch in your channel then the Kara no Kyoukai movies would be an interesting addition. If not then you can watch it at a later time anyways. It's a good series of movies to watch regardless so I recommend watching those sometime later. This let's play seems okay. You can commentate on what you think and give your opinions etc though it does have to be forced. You can also give jokes if you want but again it also does not have to be forced. In short, do whatever you think is best and feels natural. Anything forced will just feel awkward for the viewer so whatever you're doing naturally is gonna be better than any forced act just to please the audience. So far everything seems fine I guess so for now there are no complains from me.
