He has made that clear over and over, that he only want to do a show with OPEN competitors to see how he stands up against them. Chris as Classic has had to operate under restrictions from Weight to Height and with him comparing himself to competitors who operate under the OPEN No Restriction category it will be interesting to see, but NOT to judge.

If you look at the the floor you can see that the angle of where the shots are taken are different. Makes comparing things a bit awkward.

You are dead on. Unfortunately though he looked better than all the competitors, in my opinion, presentation and confidence is everything. Him not smiling and looking more confident is what truly hurt him. I believe the judges were biased, and determined not to see him in the top 3. They got in his head, that you can see in his face. A true champion shows confidence to the end, regardless of what's being done to him. Competitors are there to win the audience as well as the judges. You win the audience, and it's harder for judges to cheat you. He also could've been more conditioned. You can see he's struggling to hold a lot of his poses. I used to compete, and I can tell you, posing and holding the poses is exhausting. I remember being sore and tired the day after a show. He needs to work on those three things, posing, confidence, and conditioning. He reminds me of myself after my last show in 91. I too knew who the judges were leaning towards. I too wasn't in the shape I could have been. The pics of him holding his breath grimacing reminded me of myself 😂. When you are up on that stage, and the lights are shining in your face, you see nothing out in front of you. You feel like you're all alone in front of your mirror. You forget you are in front of a crowd, and need to project your best image possible. That takes lots of practice. Finally, I too walked off stage. Only after breaking my second place trophy in half. That was it for me. I hope this isn't final for him. He's a phenom. He's got size and symmetry. He could dominate the sport if he learns from this experience and sticks with it. Just Sayin 😏

In a nutshell, the Arnold judges on aesthetics, and the Olympia judges on size. Arnold or Zane wouldn't even place in the top 10 for Classic Physique at the Olympia. Pretty sad.
