Sip Sip Time Machine
Before we were Sip Sip, we had a different name (and a different vibe?!) Joe Guzzo III shot and edited this throwback gem. We thought about re-shooting it with the Sip Sip aesthetic but realized that it was actually pretty decent the first time. Let us know what you think in the comments!

I was impressed by Luke’s lightning speed stirring before realizing the clip was sped up 😂. I started stirring in my shaker tin after my glass broke and haven’t looked back! It’s great for drinks on ice, but requires a few more seconds of stirring to reach proper dilution for up drinks compared to glass.

This is rad. I feel like you guys could easily get on the algorithm, but I would recommend doing a bit more editing for short form content and maybe look into storyboarding videos. For example, in this video I think it would be better to make the drink earlier, then spend the rest of the video talking instead of how it is currently formatted with all the action back heavy. Make a few youtube shorts if you can. I think this sort of content boiled into 20-ish seconds could really take off.

Fun tip! Take the coil off a spare Hawthorne strainer and chuck it in the shaker. It at least make it look like you know what you're doing.

Big fan of making Old Fashioneds with just spirit and amaro so had to try this. That poser monk knows what’s up. Benedictine can sure shine in an OF template. I did another version that swapped in Rye with a grapefruit twist and it was bangin’! Question. How do you get freezer burn smell / taste out of ice cubes? Obviously clean the tray but nothing has worked. Maybe set it aflame?

Maybe try freezing the cubes within another vessel, i.e. place your ice cube tray in a Tupperware with the lid sealed. Or a quick flame with a mini butane torch! (Although it may taste like butane then). In general, any time ice is being frozen in the freezer, it helps contribute to frost build up in the entire freezer, so trying to self contain the process might help!
