here in the UK they are offering a 4 year warranty, which if that is anthing to go by then they must believe in the reliability of it. picking mine up next week, going to slap on a 790duke steering stabilizer as well as a QS. all for £200 on top, so im in £6200 on the road in cost. absolute bargain. this bike is way better than the MT07 for sure, i tink that may have been a bad comparrison.

How do you think the reliability of the 800nk will be?

What about the weight of the bike brother? How does the weight feels? They claim 410 but dont know if is wet weight or what.....thanks

Physics will not be denied. As long as the bike is in motion, it is difficult to fall over, but when gravity comes in to play it can be a cruel taskmaster. I also dropped my first bike, a '04 Ninja 250 going down an incline at slow speed, and instead of using my rear brake I was heavily using my front brake and the bike did a 90 degree rotation between my legs on pea gravel that was practically marbles. Then I laughably dropped my current bike in my driveway, talking on the phone with my wife on my Cardo and was sitting on the bike for a minute before dismounting, where I had already put the kickstand down and accidentally rolled forward and the stand creeped back a smidge and pulled a Yammie Noob on his GSX-8S lol. So yeah, drops will happen to everyone on a long enough timeline.

Confidence is something you will get. And practise makes perfect don't rush just enjoy. One thing I would change for you straight away is stay away from center lines. Aim to exit corner through the middle, it gives you some safety room. Slow in fast out. Keep riding.

Thanks for a relevant video. I would absolutely choose the 800nk over the mt07 all day, especially since they can be sourced at better prices than retail. Plus cruise...man that is nice.

i wonder if it's possible to get the advanced model but with the smaller TFT that you have instead of the big ipad. i've seen a cool little windscreen sold by barracuda that really compliments the look of this bike, plus it'd give some wind protection, but it wouldn't fit with the ipad sticking out :/

I just started riding about a month ago and for my first few days I would drop down to about 5 mph under the suggested speed for a curve but now a month later I'm sending it about 15 mph over the suggestion, you just have to fight the feeling that the bike is going to fall over and realize you have a lot more grip than you think. Just lean the bike and let it do its work.

My 300nk measured the distance in inches, and is less reliable than TomTom, so the navigation is total bunk. I was hoping there would be Android Auto on the Advanced version, but it looks like no dice. I will likely be getting one of these, but man there is so much wasted potential on this platform.
