What else can I use if I don't have the poly glue ?

You didn’t use the proper etching cream for stainless steel I’ve used dollar stores before you cannot use glass Etching cream

What if this doesn’t work? I followed up to trace bitmap my options don’t look like yours at all. I played with some of the options but it’s not removing background the words are highlighted red but don’t separate? Thoughts? I just download Inkscape today so probably a different version

You can't use glass etching cream on metal. It isn't SUPPOSED to work.

Lady please, that's glass etching. You actually need Ferric Chloride for copper and other metals.

I know this was a while ago but I think you could use a clean bottle cap to seal the opening when you shake the glitter around. It would be washable and reusable instead of using a paper towel.

Thank you for the tip regarding plastic bottles for glitter and polycrylic and I have done exactly this with mine. It is so convenient and like how I can put the extra glitter and polycrylic back on the bottles so easily. Would also rather tip over a plastic bottle than the polycrylic can.

I think I found a way to go from print and cut to just cut. In the project area you can change the fill option to "no fill" then the linetype is just set to cut. that's it

I use the exact product and method you do. And some of my ornaments have missing spots. Any ideas why please?? Also, I've heard aleen's glue is good to use for this. Any thoughts ? Thank you

Right... but what if I accidentally save an image as cut and I meant to save as print and cut...and I spent forever cleaning up the image, only to screw up and save as a cut file. Cricut needs to do something about this...I’ve made the mistake far too many times and there should be a way to switch between the two it you accidentally save it wrong. Ugh
