Boom Brush Control and Environmental Mulching is a veteran-owned small business based just outside of Charlotte, NC. Chris Roussell, owner/operator, has been in the customer service industry for over 20+ years. Chris’s love of the outdoors, attention to detail, and discerning eye towards landscape beautification drew him to creating Boom Brush Control and Environmental Mulching. Chris and Boom Brush Control are passionate about providing the most cost effective, efficient, and environmentally friendly forestry mulching services to Western NC and Northern SC.

Do you like the bull hog or black hawk more?
Looking to move from my Cat 299d3 to the rt135. Been running fecon and really liked it. Torn between the Blackhawk and Cimaf. Now that you have had the Blackhawk for a while, what are your thoughts? Does it have a replaceable liner and have you had to replace it?

tcmoney1321 thank you! I have a FGT head and the Blackhawk DCR. I do adjust the shift pressure depending on the job. I really enjoy the residential work versus commercial so using a skid versus dedicated is ideal for me. Residential customers are more appreciative.
Any personal experience with the Blackhawk vs the Cimaf or the Prinoth heads?
Jkgpr ran the Cimaf. I like the Blackhawk better from a production standpoint. Full track mulching gives faster production.
I own the prinoth m450 and I couldn't be happier!
Prinoth seems to be the new go to from the Cimaf. All good heads. For me it comes down to quality and service response. Fecon has amazing support and response!
