This well preserved rath, or ring fort, is thought to have been built in the early Christian period between 500 and 1000 AD. The rath is the highest point in the Castlereagh Hills. This is an update on the progress of two new apple trees we planted in our garden. The two types we bought are Blood Of The Boyne and Beauty Of Bath. Lovely wee bird !
Driving a rural road with wife & kids while on vacation, we came across a few cows on the road. My son (age 7 & always full of questions) asked “dad why are all these cows on the road”? I told him “I’m not sure.” A moment later we passed a bull on the other side of the fence mounting the back of a cow. My son speaks up again “Dad, why is that cow on the back of the other cow?” Thinking quickly, I answered “I think that’s how they’re getting over the fence and on the road. They climb on each others backs and jump over”.(proud of my answer and grinning wildly having avoided the correct answer) my son,satisfied, leaned back and said “I wondered how they got on the road.” Moments later my wife leaned into me and whispered “is that the truth?”

🗣 Looks like we've got some visitors here. They're all having a wee sniff. Lovely.... Cows galore. Absolutely brilliant! - Careful now, watch the wing-mirrors girls , thats mad, thats some amount of cattle, tell ya. I haven't really been counting but thats crazy. Oh, now don't be... just checking the number plate.. Oh what's this?!? Is this a bull?!! That was mad that thing, whatever it was! I thought it was gonna flip the Scirocco! Oh! they clipped that there, that was brilliant! 😂
