4 Dogs Problem: The Inefficient Solution (3b1b SoME#2 Entry)
Solving the 4 Dogs problem was a nice brain exercise I took, but I didn't realize that I would do it this differently compared to some solutions I found online. I guess this calls for a video! Thanks to 3Blue1Brown for arranging the Summer of Math Exposition 2, otherwise I would've never been able to get myself to make this video within this time.

Make AMAZING patterns from regular functions! Here's how.
All your life you saw the graphs of functions like sin, cos, tan. And... they are quite okay. But what if you could get a whole new type of pattern from these seemingly simple functions?! Prepare to be blown away as you watch hundreds of lines dancing with their own rhythm. About the concept: I didn't find many things online and don't even know the formal term for this way to represent function...
Pendulum Waves | Satisfying Animation Video
A satisfying video! Pendulums create these awesome visuals by changes in their consecutive phase difference, not much to explain, but looks super cool. Animations made using Adobe After Effects cc 2018. Mathing is a channel which aims to visualize math using cool animations. Numbers that don't exist.. or do they? (3b1b SoME1 Entry)
Complex Numbers sure made you think twice about their existence, and how 'real' are they in comparison to the Real Numbers. Get to know why even care about these seemingly 'random' things in this video. Math or Art? Patterns in Polygons | Satisfying Animation | Animated video by Mathing
Polygons creating polygonal patterns! This video offers a totally different perspective of how beautiful and utterly satisfying can these patterns be. Note: (1) The particles DO NOT move at linearly constant speeds, and, the patterns are produced due to a sort of changing phase difference between any two consecutive particles. (2) This animations uses upto 23-gons (also known as a icosikaitrigo...
What happens when hundreds of balls are thrown in a circular container? Math or Art | Mathing
This came to my mind one day: what patterns would it produce if hundreds of balls are thrown in a circular container with uniform speed? The results I found left me stunned, so I hope you find it super cool as I did! Note: (1) This simulation is not physically accurate, because although the balls collide with the walls of the container, they don't collide with each other. But we mathematicians ...
Math or Art? Pattern in Sunflowers & Golden Ratio | Animated video by Mathing
Sunflowers contain awesome patterns that will surely amaze you. But the mathematics behind it is the real awe-providing factor. How did these come? These flowers do not know mathematics, do they? Animations made using Adobe After Effects cc 2018. Music by Sappheiros: soundcloud.com/sappheirosmusic/falling-ft-esoreni Mathing is a channel which aims to visualize math using cool animations. Math or Art? Patterns in seemingly unrelated Circular motions | Animated video by Mathing
Sometimes some seemingly unrelated motions can produce soothing patterns. This video aims to capture a tiny bit of that using motion on arranged circular paths. Timestamps: Intro: 0:00 Explanation of how the pattern works: 0:49 5 cool patterns: (Sorry for my bizarre naming sense) 1. Petals: 1:27 2. Flower: 1:34 3. Spiral Dance: 1:42 4. Math or Art? Patterns in 'Moon like' motions | Animated video by Mathing
The moon orbits the earth in a circular path. Simultaneously the earth is also rotating around the sun. Again, the sun is also rotating around the galaxy. So what is the actual path followed by the moon? Although this video doesn't show the actual 'path' of the moon, it does show how different nested satellite systems can produce amazing patterns. Short Animations: Fibonacci Spiral | Animated video by Mathing
This is a part of the short animation series where I post math animations which I find to be cool (I hope you do too!) This particular animation is actually revealing the Fibonacci spiral. This spiral, originated from the Fibonacci sequence, is often compared to the Golden Ratio Spiral, a spiral commonly found in nature. (To be honest I once thought both were the same, but the fact is that this...
Short Animations: Straight Line or Circle with Infinite Radius?
This is a part of the short animation series where I post math animations which I find to be cool (I hope you do too!) This particular animation is actually visualizing how a straight line can be actually a circle of infinite radius. It is not possible for any machine in this world to draw a circle with infinite radius procedurally, so for this video a circle with sufficiently large radius was ...
Short Animations: Parabolic Shapes using ONLY Straight Lines!
This is a part of the short animation series where I post math animations which I find to be cool (I hope you do too!) This particular animation is actually demonstrating how using only straight lines you can form parabolic shapes. For adding coolness the shapes have been arranged in a circle and some rotations were added just to give it a nice look. Software: Adobe After Effects More on this: ...
Math or Art? Pattern in the Times Table! Animated Video by Mathing
A video appreciating how beautiful Mathematics can be when it comes to patterns. And the patterns discussed in the video comes from a very basic thing we all have knowledge of, the Times Table. Want to learn in details about this pattern and how it relates to the Mandelbrot set? Here's a great video for that by Mathologer: ruclips.net/video/qhbuKbxJsk8/видео.html Animations made using Adobe Aft...
