To cover 1000km in a day would be bit difficult, nevertheless I suggest you to stop over for 20-25 min after 300Km run. Longest run which I had done was 720km at one stretch from Bangalore - cutrolom falls - Kanyakumari. Still the bike performed pretty good.

Hey Rohit, Thanks for writing in, I will put in short words. I have been riding Apache since 2 years for now. Have been to many places ( most of them being Solo ride ). Till date, I haven't caught up in a situation where the bike has let me down. As its a commuter bike, you cannot throttle up continuously on 120+, but you can still manage them well. I have done around 17k KM so far and planning to do lot more. People complain about the vibration and the riding posture. Maybe I overlook these things cos I am happy with its performance. When you do long rides and fuel stations being a sort of concern, I don't have to worry about these, cos I get a good mileage which in turn saves lots of time in finding fuel station or taking pit stops. Overall it's a good bike within the range of 1 lakh. PS: If you are planning to buy any bike, please opt for the ones which come with ABS.

Yes Rohit, you can do 1k easily without any hassle. Just an insight on my travel 1.Bangalore - Kanyakumari via curtrollam - 760 km covered in a day. 2. covered 2000+ km in 4 days 3. A Recent one is 1200 km in 2 days. So you can easily make it. All the best. PS: Before your trip, get your bike serviced well to avoid any sort of problems. If you are from Bangalore, then you can buy anti puncher sealant liquid from JC road ( available in any tier shop )
