Field Checking 101: WildCAT Skills
The WildCATs (Cascadia Action Team) are key players in our forest defense work at Cascadia Wildlands.
Our WildCATs routinely "field check" our timber sales, which is a fancy way of saying that they take note of how the forest ecosystem looks and is behaving. These notes help support our advocacy work, and if need be, our legal cases against the federal government.
