Would you recommend full elite void for mage?

If you fall during the agility section. Do you always protect melee? Don't some of the monkeys have ranged attacks?

Never seen anyone actually getting 400k xp in an hour, I can get about 280k even stacking. As you said 250k xp is more realistic

You could use dagon'hai, it has % added damage

If you cannot afford a Kodai or Nightmare staff but have 70 atk+def then full Ahrim's with Amulet of the Damned is a good alternative. Since 2021 the AOTD will allow Ahrim's staff to autocast ancients. And because AOTD provides 7.5% additional damage (25% of 30%) it is actually better than Occult anyway when worn with full Ahrim's. Also if you have 80 def+prayer the (unfortified) Elidinis' ward is quite cheap and provides 3% magic damage, which is considerably better than a Book of Darkness. Something else to consider is using a Lightbearer with a melee switch to Crystal Halberd set (basically just whatever your max strength gear is). The Halberd's spec will hit 10 monkeys at once so if you just switch and dump 3 specs whenever you're 90%+ spec you can gain a lot of melee xp at the cost of very little magic xp. This can be particularly convenient if you're bursting in void since it's then just a 6 way switch to void melee helm, chally, neck, cape, boots, ring.

3:41-3:43 You can "run" over it. This is because while running your character "teleports" 2 tiles away, so your character completely skips over ever being on the tile that the trap, etc is on. If you merely attempt to walk and not run over it, you will take the damage, because your character is moving one tile at time whilst walking.

i think bonecrusher necklace > occult especially with the recent magic changes. i never have to sip a single prayer pot protecting from melee and using mystic might so all the prayer pots i grab are just extra $. checked w/ a dps calculator and in my current setup an occult is only a max hit increase of 1 while wearing elite void.

If you leave the cannon out and get pkd they can't pick it up and you can go back and retrieve it using prayer for extra item on death, essentially saving 8 items of high value if you use the prayer twice

To make the logout situation easier I find it better to use the world Hopper plug in and on my number pad I like to set the plus and minus sign as my world up and world down it's one click and generally just as effective as logging out because you can just hop a world and once you know you're safe you can log out normally or just continue on as long as you're still not in combat or gotten hit by an enemy
