Have you tried out team comps? They have way cleaner driver's and its way more organized, a good example I could give would be the SOG drift comp.
Yeah, I see what you're saying. That's why I joined team hell bound, and they started a new comp series/championship called method drift. I really like the specs for the cars it's really balanced. You can run with any car and still compete competitively.

Lately tried this car. This is the most realistic car in all Assetto Corsa. Not the hardest for drifting, but actually the most realistic one. Truly an amazing car.

Story of my life. It’s unfortunate that 90% of the runs are either glitched out, disconnected, or with people that try to hack the rules or just plain trash.
The most recent update has changes to this mode that should help alleviate issues

my guess is that the ts050 was on high downforce spec
It’s just that Le Mans is a longer track, and the lmp1’s already don’t have a high top speed , so they struggle a lot at power tracks in gt7
