Reverse seared steak @TraegerGrills @MEATER @WBPM3
How I reverse sear a steak using the Traeger! Smoke low and slow; once it hits blue rare I crank up that induction range and sear it off 1-2 mins a side to a nice medium rare and enjoy!

The fly approves! Might wanna wash your Meater probe before the next use.
@@ciscoru2346 that fly is my pet; no need; he’s been tested
That grill should have been cleaned long before you made this video
Thank you. Your video was very helpful.
You’re so welcome! Thanks for watching
Nice stick
Nice cook! Was a bit surprised you seared it in a pan. Does traeger not have the flame sear feature?
@@vladimus9749 no they do not have any open flame models. Could sear on the grates with it cranked but I love the pan crust
You used a plastic pan on your grill??? I was all for the recipe until I saw that 😂
@@blakefreytag4190 haha that ain’t plastic lol that’s a Cambro. Designed for in oven use up to 350-375° temp. A chefs best friend(although I ain’t no chef lol)
how did you let your grill get that filthy in the first place?????
Those aren’t smash burgers.
Thanks for the video. very helpful.
What knife are you using?
Looks great
Thunder Bay’s own “Heart Beat” sauces are amazing. Fricken awesome.
Got my new Timberline XL aboit 2 months ago now. "Jihawg" has been working like an utter champ. That being said, I'm in the hill country in Texas so you know its been getting used a lot lol.
Nice recipe! However, drums are not wings. I’m a wing elitest sorry.
Hahaha I can appreciate that! I’m a flats guy 100%
How long does it take at that temp?😊
It depends but on average like 45 mins to an hour
fn windy
"Hun hold on before you start the vid, let me get this cigar rolling!"
Priorities 😂
Whats the heat retention on one of these
Not gunna lie; it’s incredible! I been using it all winter! Up to -40° and it’s roaring! The quality is insane. Heat retention would blow you away
@@triple6grill284 Im on the Manitoba side of you wanna get into wood fired breads and such just wondering if it's doable I asked the company but sometimes they like to toot their own horn like to ask the real world users lol
Thanks. I am pretty dumb with this kind of thing and it helped me.
Hahaha love helping!!
That’s not dirt. That’s flavor.
Haha 😂
Overall, how happy are you with your La Piazza pizza oven? I am seriously considering purchasing the Grosso model. How is the overall quality? Is the cart well built?
Oh I’m extremely happy. Quality is incredible. I’m from Sask; our winters aren’t mild lol I’ve used it damn near every week even in bitter cold and it’s so solid. Beyond happy with this beast!
Great vid I’m about to pull the trigger on one of these ovens. I am stuck between the Toscsna and the larger Grosso. The grosso being 1.5X more cooking square area than the toscana. Do you think the additional space over the Toscana would be good? It’s only $600 more and I’d hate to shortchange myself but also wouldn’t want something so big it’s not worth it or is just wasteful. I’m less than an amateur lol, never even cooked a pizza but want to use it for pizzas, breads, cooking steaks, potatoes etc. The grosso can cook several pizzas but that’s too much for an amateur to deal with so probably only be cooking 1 - 16” at a time. I think if it like a barn it can never be too big haha(but obviously an oven can be obnoxiously big) I’d just hate to want to upsize down the road and have to buy a whole other one. Thanks man
You cannot go wrong either way!! The grosso space is incredible!! But I do love the Toscana!!!
@@triple6grill284awesome! Thanks
Puffing on a opus x while makin wings… great taste in cigars and food 👌🏼
Do you do a burn right after to burn off the chemicals and re-season it?
I would. I’d follow Traeger seasoning instructions.
The Meatchurch Holy Voodoo coupled with Frank’s Wing Sauce is magical!!!
To much drip pan. Less smoke gets to the food. Drill some holes in it.
Those look great man! I love Franks! Definitely going to have to try this out soon. A little bit different than the process I've been using. Looks like hot and fast is a good option. I don't have a traeger but I have a pit boss but I think the same method will apply.
Traeger makes a product for this. It's called the Flatrock
And I would have one if they were released in Canada but sadly not until 2024
Thank you, Cheers!
Great video. I would love to hear how it performs in the Saskatchewan winter.
Hey boss!! It’s early but did 6 pizzas at -15 ; so far that’s the coldest we’ve gotten and it has zero issues. I’ll make sure and post some winter cooks on it!!! I do have some videos of that -15° cook on my Instagram tho!! Was flawless at that temp
Great to hear, thanks! I live in the lower mainland of BC, so it is very rare that we would ever get to -15 so this helps a lot. Thanks again!@@triple6grill284
Think you're supposed to season them first. I made the same mistake
How many brisket will fit on the 885
Most I’ve had is 4 smaller or 2 very large
how do you get rid of white residue on grills afterwards?
How do u know the temp of them. Since there so small
My hand held thermoworks has a needle basically at the end and it works to check
Pile wings on the probe like a kabob lol
Dumb question but can I spray and just hose it out or is that a no no?
Pressure might cause issues
I used three bottles of grill cleaner and then I gently hosed everything out, mine was a bit dirtier than the one in video. I made sure everything was 100% dry and the grill was unplugged the whole time. I did a test fire just to make sure everything was fine and it was. I need to just start doing a major clean out once a year, I kicked the can down the road too many times and it almost cost me a really good pork butt!@@triple6grill284
If just good fun vibes was a human it would be this guy, steak looks good dude
Appreciate that so much! What’s more fun than good food, a good drink and sunshine!!!!
I do the same thing. Wings come out great every time. Only drawback is the grill is a pain to clean.
Got a Rangeman G-Shock for Father's day! Cheers!
Supposed to be an orange peel! Come on man

My man, how tall are you? That oven looks like it’s way up there unless you are like 5’3.I just ordered mine, and I’m 6’3, so I’m hoping it’s just a taller oven than most I have seen.
Hahaha I am like 5’5” hahaha so yes I’m short 😂
I still think it’s a bit taller than other similar ovens on their stands, so that is a nice bonus. One of the other ovens I was looking at, I would have had to spend an extra $150 for a 4 inch lift to raise the oven up. Looks like I won’t need it with the LPWO.
@@mikemorrison377 oh heck! Ya this one is tall and it’s awesome! Great quality to!!)
I see why your grill is so dirty.
4k and you get to make burgers one at a time on a little stove!
Temp?
Love this grill, I just got mine
I’ve had the pro 575 for about a year now and love it.
It’s a fantastic grill!!!
Where's the smash burger part?
How you liking the G-unit?
Loving it! But have so much to learn
@@triple6grill284 I bought a Weber. Pizza topper. I gotta fig out I here you can do roasts and bread to

Can you show us a neapolitan pizza cook? I have a Ooni Koda 16 and thinking of just getting a wood fired LPWO Toscano. I see them on the site for $2,397. Is that what you paid?
I’m still new! I haven’t done a ton yet! Still learning. A Neapolitan will happen eventually once I get my dough nailed down! And I believe it was around $2400 from backyard grills in St Albert.
