Ben Stoeger tips: Trigger Control With The Glock
❤never to late❤❤❤
Ask yourself. Dont lie.
Thanks for the excellent training video
this is gold. i
My Glock 26 first three serial# are BYV- - -US. I can't find what year it was made. On the slide, it says Austria .
is it without limiter?
Respect to JJ for repping RIA and Armscor! Mabuhay ka!
Where do i find it
This is awesome. Is there a place where the full video lives?
Another issue might be related to your eyes getting older: the front sight isn't far enough away for you to focus on well. The red dot appears to be at infinity, or out somewhere near the target at least, and that can help.
Does JJ ever teach in the philippines?
Good stuff. Every movement explained in detail. Thank you for the great info!!
Self analyzation versus repetition makes sense. I once stated to a professional singer that practice makes perfect and she then corrected me. She stated that perfect practice makes perfect. I then figured out that working on the perfect part is more important than the repetition.
Jerry shoots 9MM out of that wheel gun and it uses "moon clips", so when Jerry says loading "clips" it is correct LOL
Shoot, i have 2 red dots being put on pistols with BUIS.
Solid gold
Jj! 🔥🔥
The goat 🙌✨
For competition shooting, wouldn't you want a little broader back sight? So, on those shots where you need a little higher level confirmation, it's still easier to get the front in the middle of the back sight, not like bullseye shooting.
Very nice video. Very helpful. Im very thankful.
What optic is Jerry using on his revolver? Never seen anything like it.
Aimpoint
@@theshootingguy2013 Brilliant, thanks!
My Glock serial number is AGT but this does not match anything I’m seeing online
Just bought a used Glock 26 gen 4 the 3 lteers are not there can’t find them barrel only says 9x19 and AT on top nothing by serial number and not 3 letters on the frame just a blank spot on the fde frame
only 3 comments for a 9 time world champion?
It's unreal.
He’s not wearing a plate carrier, he was never in SOF, there’s no rock music. This a technical discussion and has limited entertainment value to those not actually interested in improving their shooting or expanding their knowledge base.
ok - but how do I know what is wrong? About sightpicture - is it my sightalingment - or my grip - or my transaction from one target to another?? How do I know what to change?
You do your dry fire of what you think is correct and go to the range to validate. Dry fire is not a stand alone activity from live fire
gold; thanks for sharing this 👍
Eric takes shooting to an academic level . I’m sure most of his competitors don’t think like this
my g19 gen 4 has ABPA 2**
Answered a question that has been bothering me for a while. Plus, it's always funny to see you trying hard to make these mistakes 😂
With your new wrist position (down) your support hand is much, much stronger which lets you grip the bottom of the grip much better.
The magic is @37:22
My three letters are BCG, anybody know? I'm fairly sure it's a first gen. Thank you to anyone that can help.
Very interesting! How do you get these great shooters on your channel? I see JJ often as he lives down the street from my daughter!
It’s my understanding that actual real life shootings the majority report total focus on the target. After decades of old school sight focus(Retired LEO) gonna try this.
It really works but takes a little time to be confident enough so as to not switch back and forth between target focus and sight focus!
My Glock 22 gen 3 is from the Puerto Rico Police dep. and the 3 letters are PFV. There is no V in the code look up.
He now layering video too ruclips.net/video/VLb_CPgOeWE/видео.htmlsi=w75ul1x1wNHWax_z
Nicely done - I wasn’t for sure if that was a OG song or not - I haven’t heard that song in years & it instantly brought me back - you got any more jingles? My uncle does the same thing you do - he makes every layer
Thank you! Yes, I have another channel, on the link I sent you can check out.
Pearl Jam fan?
Why do you think?
@@theshootingguy2013 ruclips.net/video/It0F-jQkiKA/видео.html
that backing track reminded me of an old song " hard to imagine"
@@GetTonedFitness Oh thank you ☺️ Actually this is my song, I wrote it and play all the instruments. By the way I like that kind of music but I never heard that Pearl Jam song.

I don't see the link for the book
Great video. Would love to take a class with JJ. Seems like a really solid instructor.
What is the best Glock 34 gen 5 MOs or CZ P10F and why? Anyone have the best idea and answer.
Glock is longer barrel , CZ P10F is like glock 17. I have the CZ, really nice shooter.
@@51TomasLopez50 thanks sir
I've got the P10C, because of the better: trigger, ergonomic fit to my hand and sight indexing than the G19 I'd definitely go with the P10F, unless you'd like to spend more $$$ and upgrade the crap out of a Glock to be equivalent to the CZ...
@@stansenter2660 how about glock 17 gen 5 MOs vs cz P10F, using in competition who is more accurate?
They're not going to be that different. Try them both, or at least hold them both and see which one fits your hand and points more instinctively.
So true. I'm not the fastest at splits but managed to score M on classifiers due to having good transitions. USPSA is much more than just "how well you can shoot".
'Promo SM' 🙋
This is great advice not just for shooting but for doing anything under pressure. Too many people practice only to be pretty in practice. This is golden advice.
I went from bulls eye shooting competitions to competing in dynamic shooting 6 years ago and only recently completely unlearned all that bullseye fudd crap (Not crap in itself, but when bullseye fudds say it's necessary for dynamic shooting. They are easy to spot over here in Europe, their favorite meaningless commonplace is "Speed comes [automatically] once the precision is there.") I am presbyopic and the switch to target focus in dynamic shooting has improved my shooting per se slightly and certainly not impeded accuracy. I can make difficult shots just fine without glasses and have way better situational awareness not being artificially turned short-sighted by shooting glasses that are like reading glasses with their focus on the iron sights. Now, if I have to shoot bulls eye for qualifications etc. it's still easier hitting 10s with the glasses, but in dynamic an Alpha is an Alpha, there's no inner Alpha. Also, target focus saves me a lot of money on RDs, because I can still play in iron sights divisions at advanced middle age. Thx, Mr. Stoeger, for all your great material. I already bought several of your books and greatly profited.
Excellent advice. Same goes for the gym. 98% of the people at the gym go through the motions but never see a change
That's great! I'm 70 and been shooting uspsa and my best score is 130 seconds. Started at 200 seconds! Have fun!
Keep up the good work and enjoy shooting. Have fun my friend!
Great video! I've been an eye doc for 35 years, and I have preached target focus shooting for a long time. No matter your age, the eyes' depth of focus, and depth of field, will not allow two things separated by a large distance to be in focus simultaneously. Remain target focused and you can still get all the information you need from the irons, even though they will be slightly blurred.
Your videos combined with your book have helped me out so much. I've only been to the range twice but because of my practice with dry firing I have been able to shoot groups as good as my friend who has been shooting for years. I am still working on speed, but I just wanted to say thank you for everything you put out to help shooters.
