We will also try to do videos of the areas we visit. Since we are based in Southern Pacific part of Costa Rica we will give you a deep dive into some of the most diverse places on the Planet.
Upgrading to the DJI Ronin RS4 Pro
I just recently upgraded to the DJI Ronin RS4 Pro Combo. This is what I like about the gimbal. I currently have a DJI Ronin RS2 Pro, and I feel the upgrade was worth it.

With not a big budget to outfit the new studio space with sound treatment, I turned to my fabrication abilities to make some Acoustical Panels. I used the Sigma Arts 24mm 1.4
I’m using the same combo but from time to time I have a bit too much noise in my pictures. Have you recognised the same? Normally I shoot 1/1000, exposure as low as possible and max iso 3200.
When I shoot photos im usually at ISO 400. But when its early morning the lens is wide open at f6.3 at 600mm . I Try not to shoot at high ISO since im outdoors. Sometimes late evenings I may push to 1200 ISO but never 3200.

Do you use a ND filter when filming surfing?
I don't have a filter ring big enough for the 200-600mm. So filming in the morning with the rising sun is key at this location. The afternoon around 4pm is ok as well.
You shooting with mechanical or electronic shutter? Hows rolling shutter on stills photos with electronic shutter on surfing photography? Tyvm

Good evening I have a problem with my A7 IV the ad400 pro and the xpro-S. I can't get the HHS and TTL to work, do you have a solution ? I found zero solution on the net 😪
What settings do you have in the Camera for flash? What trigger are you using?
Do you think the Manfrotto Befeee video tripod would be stable enough for this lens? Planning to shoot surf with it and don't want to have to take my full-size video tripod internationally.
Well the lens is not real heavy. So you could probably get away with it. A good video head and IBIS should help as well. I use a Gitzo carbon fiber tripod.
@@mgeos1ds I just received the tripod today. It's incredibly lightweight, so when you try to pan with the video head it moves the entire tripod and legs. I will have to resell this and use my old school Miller legs and Manfrotto 501HDV video head.
@@benjamindbailey It has the skinny neck on it. Did you loosen the tension on the head? Keep in mind you will be planting the tripod in sand. Best of luck!

I will share this beautiful video with my supervisor, "Chainsaw Rob". He is an avid surfer, and I sent him video clips from our visit to Playa Pavones in 2020. But they were not anything close to what you have created here :) There are two folks that come to my mind when thinking about our one-and-only visit there: Tomas & Susie. our AirB&B hosts @ Finca lapa Libre`", and Senior Chepe` right next to the Mercado, who rented us one of his Quad's for 24-hours. One day soon, over supper at our hacienda I will tell you the story about the dog that chased and snapped at us during our Quad ride home from supper at that Italian restaurant near the beach, whose name I cannot remember or find.
