Listen regularly, you all are crushing. If I had any advice it'd be to implement timestamps and post clips for key topics. A distant tier down from that would be to invite guests (writers/artists/paper printers/the people who make the staples/etc). One of the great things about the pod is how positive it is, which will be an inviting and safe environment for guests to share more about their projects. All in all none of these are essential and the main thing I want to see personally is for you all to keep going!

Organization is key. Also staff that can engage with you if you ask them questions. I don’t like when you go into a store and there are like 2/3 kids there just hanging out and not giving a flying F about the customer. Shout out to Strange Adventures in Gilbert AZ where I buy all my comics. Great content!

I only collect Howard the Duck and Groo the Wanderer, as they are my earliest series/characters . I also am a sucker for Barry Windsor-Smith art, so I'll probably never own all of his covers.

I buy some comics to read…however, most of what I purchase is purely for collecting purposes. I love adding new key issues and rare back issues to my collection. A lot of it comes from being nostalgic about comic related stuff from my childhood…but more recently it’s become more about the hobby and being able to identify and nerd out with other collectors. It’s definitely a community thing and I love sharing my collection as well as admiring comics that others have collected.

I promise I will actually start buying pops if you do a labyrinth theme 😂

So I .just found you guys I will stick around for a while. The Comic Book Community is definitely a great group of people. I myself have a small comic channel with a few fellow fans called That's Comic-Cal so I totally get it when it comes to trying to grow an audience. I beleive Patrick Horvath got nominated for Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees. That mini series is a gem! The best book I have read so far in 2024.

I have several shops in my area that only sell current books and have no back stock which sucks when I'm looking to fill in runs, etc. Finally got a great shop not too far away with some good older books and plenty of older books, dollar bins, etc. Love it. They have my business fully now.

Ultimate Cary imo is a great setup and an ultimate staff. I feel part of a community when I come in to pick up my comics and I’m genuinely happy to see and interact with you all while I am there. I can’t wait to see the new shop and how it will look! I’m sure it will be awesome….one thing I think is cool that I’ve seen some shops do, is have a lounge space for people to chill…like a couch and coffee table or an arm chair or something…a shop I went to when I lived up in Massachusetts had something similar, like a common area for people to chill and check out their new books and converse.

A deal-breaker for me with an LCS is the store being cluttered and not clean. If I can't get to your inventory because if have to keep moving stacks of comics or comic boxes, or crawl around on the floor to get to the boxes, then it's unlikely that I'll buy anything and even return. Also important is having a welcoming environment with a friendly and helpful staff.

One huge snub imo is in Limited Series - The Enfield Gang Massacre. Also - Matthew Wilson for coloring - he’s been crushing it on several series. For best anthology - I’m pulling for Swan Songs…but I suspect it’s a long shot. Lots of great nominees all around.

Considering Siena's wild movie selections when they were a child, Imma lil surprised they didn't say their most nostalgic comic was The Punisher! That's a wild read for a kid.😂

Spawn is my all time favorite character and Todd my favorite artist! I just got a personal grail of spawn 1 in cgc 9.8 ❤…I love that he is expanding the universe. I love scorched and the new rat city is cool, I loved the first issue! Stop by Secret Stash while you’re in Jersey !
