Canadian Pacific maintenance worker cuts me off
On I-39N/90W at mile marker 10.
Yes, I called the number on the back of the maintenance truck, gave C.P. the plate number of the truck. An investigator contacted me, got notes on what happened and this video. C.P. is now investigating whom the driver of their vehicle is.

Someone pulling a lynette and pintle hook trailer with a Genie Boom on it appears to have flipped the trailer with the Genie Boom on it. I have no idea if the towing vehicle was driven away, or towed away by Maggio Towing.

Northbound I-39/EB I-90, near South Beloit, IL. Swerving into left and right lanes as of the driver is drunk. Wisconsin State troopers called after he got into WI and was seen continuing north towards the scales.

Southbound I-39 from milemarker 106 to milemarker 84, this driver was just tailgating everyone and running that left lane even when not passing someone or near an on or off ramp. Yeah, Punjab Express Tractor #444 decided he'd jump in front of a semi going 76 m.p.h. while he was going 65 m.p.h. Two dummies in one area.

Northbound I-39 at milepost 104 in Illinois. 6-14-2024. Wow, nobody got greedy and rushed up the left lane to cut anybody off. Everyone stayed in line and kept on moving. Just a grass fire in the median and fire department had already been notified of it.

This is a city roadway Ralph, not an Interstate. The speed limit here is 45 m.p.h., AND I was doing less than 40 m.p.h. since I had already slowed down for the flatbed. Any other erroneous advice you want to give me? Full disclosure, I'm on this route about 50% of the year. Now, quit making excuses for shitty semi drivers.

A driver calling out a company name with a truck number and saving it is not a petty or impatient and it's not an indictment of his driving habits! It's a man that's reached his limit, he's had it up to his fucking eyeballs and he's using it to vent his anger. How many times in a 14 hour period does an 18 wheeler get forced into being courteous? Too many. From one of his own over and over, you get tired.

I am 71, retired after 46 years and 3 million accident-free miles as an owner/operator hauling hogs, cattle, grain, etc. in the Midwest. I have had this exact same thing happen although much closer to where I had to hit the brakes and swerve into a shallow ditch. I wasn't mad at the guy who did it, I was proud of the great job of driving that I did to avoid contact.

In this case, the cam trucker and the offender have no common cause - they aren't supposed to be operating against the interests of their employers, and doing dumb stuff as shown here is definitely against both employers interests.
