Because guns were a part of dl1 from the start. Dl2 introduced. Guns later in the game, which requires time to update. Youre just a bad gamer.

Bro, first off: The update just came out like a few months ago, new updates need and take time to be fully polished. Second: They told our asses it wouldn’t fit with the lore, in Harran it made sense because the outbreak lasted for like 9 months? There were still people who knew how to make bullets, in DL2 it takes place at least DECADES after the fall. I don’t think people would remember how to make bullets when arrows work just fine from a long distance. 3: The renegades are literally high on their minds with inhibitors which not only makes you permanently stronger but makes you more crazy, or they probably don’t think you have ammo, ever think of that? Your whole argument makes zero sense

Dying light 2 is still a good game but they made so many poor decisons with some stuff that it just dont hit the same the complete lack of guns back at launch actually didnt bother me 2 much What does bother me ur stamia being so low without upgrades that aiden cant climb something our fat butts could in real life The bugs omg the bugs i played that game 3 times the first year it came out and i still havent heard all diloage because of audio cutting out And they made it a boring grind for us trophy /achivment hunters That run 100000km trophy is something u wouldnt get natrually in 5 playthrous Oo and half the achivemts were bugged too back in the day Dying light is one of my favriote games ever i looked forward to the sequel for years and i liked what we got but i dont love it and it was so close man But seriously most ppl barley used guns in the first game dying light has always been more of meele focused

Honestly, I understand why the Volatiles have a ranged attack, I just believe that their ranged attack does WAY too much damage compared to how fast they can do it. I’ll be in the process of climbing a wall while in a chase and when I’m halfway up the wall I’ll get hit with 3 Volleys in one second and go from full health to dead. It comes to a point where I’m less concerned with their melee attacks and more concerned with their ranged attacked.

You can repair weapons infinitely even on Dying Light: just complete the missions for the blue shields. in Dying Light 2 the system is ridiculous, the durability is very limited and the price to repair them is too high.

its actually accurate because originally there werent supposed to be guns in dying light meaning they werent very knowledgeable of them so it kinda makes sense

I like the guns in dl2, but i dont like how they were integrated

Dying Light is a series where I love the games, but love and hate the community. They kept begging for guns (killing usefulness of crossbow, btw) and after they added guns, first thing people did is comparing it to the first game and complaining about how bad it is and how it missed some ass details. Many games communities can only dream to have such impact on the development of the finished game, letting you to literally write down your idea, get enough votes and have it in the game you like, in a form of free update. But if people will only keep complaining about everything, devs will lose any willingness to add new things. Then you can only wait several years for another such nice zombie game.
