My mother never once smoked in her life and has bladder cancer at the age of 85. It blows my mind to try to understand that.

My mom's specialist says she is too old (76) for chemotherapy, and he insists chemotherapy will kill her before the sarcoma does. Are there any other options?

I am going through it right now. I am done with radiation and no side affects. I have two cycles of chemo left. I have hair loss and no nausea or vomiting, nothing. I have been doing very well. I also have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer at the same time. I had to stop Ibrance while doing chemo. I will go back on it after chemo and I will then do immunotherapy for the small cell lung cancer.

Unfortunately I am suffering from epithelioid sarcoma.Which type of chemo with how much dose work well on soft tissue sarcoma?.I am 42 years old male.

The procedure of having a scope of the bladder was very uncomfortable for me. Unfortunately I will be having the procedure done again after 13 years. I am having issues with either my bladder or my kidneys as I have been having painful urination and lower back pain. Tysm for the info.🙏🏽

My son had chondrosarcoma at 33 and spread to his lungs and he died at 42 after eight months of metastasis. His doctor team at Kaiser did nothing but just let him die. They didn’t give him any clinical trials or anything and he was only in his early 40s , so discouraging about our health system

I feel like he skipped a step, and should have talked more about ways to preserve the bladder even if muscle invasive.

I have leiomyosarcoma, a soft tissue cancer in my ankle. The orthopedic oncology surgeon suggested taking off my ankle. I just can't see that. So she is going to do surgery an a plastic surgeon will do a skin graft. I had a pet scan nothing showed up anywhere else. But it can still spread fir some reason even if the cancer has all been removed. It's a constant battle with these cancers.

Is this Dr. at Penn State in Pa. I am 80 and my urine testing had RBC in urine and Dr. is waiting for almost a month to see me That is my primary Dr.

My wife died of intra abdominal spindle cell sarcoma at the age of 50. She underwent debulking surgery. In the middle of surgery doctors called me and told the disease was so extensive and there were numerous small tumours apart from two big ones. She recovered from surgery very fast and underwent chemo epirubicin 4 cycles. But the tumours grew and she died within 4 months from surgery.

I found this video to be extremely helpful. My bladder cancer was T1 high grade noninvasive. The mast was removed from my bladder. I then started BCG treatments for 6 weeks. Then a cystocopy to check bladder. Then another 6 weeks of BCG treatments. I am now in year 3 of treatment. I have been cancer free for the past two years. I will have another cystocopy at the end of July. In December I will have the last 3 BCG treatments. It has been a long journey but I am so glad that they caught my bladder cancer early. Good luck everyone!!
