I have a 31 cigarette bullet built in 1989. I've been through 3 metre chop for 2 hours racing. The boat has been through hell. 35 years later still going strong. They have hit something by the look at hull nearer bow. It also looks like a lightweight lay up which won't stand up if you hit something. Nice boat.

My guess is a through hull fitting or valve gave way and the bilge pump couldn’t keep up or wasn’t working. It happens, sort of rare though.

4:09 Those Sea Hunters are some badass boats!! I worked on one of them a few weeks back and that is a well-built vessel

My guess for Pilot boat is DyerCraft, they made a lot in the 40' range with a V bow. Center rail same is the same set up. Also narrow house is the same.
