Is there a gasket around there? I have a leak around that area. My sensor is working fine, it's the gasket that has leak and it smokes around there, on top of that I need to replace the alternator as well. Wondering if there is a gastket where that sensor sits?

So tell me where are you getting😅 the codes from, I don't believe you said but I did notice you were quoting 5 digits or so. The code books for most remotes only has 4 digits. Can you share plz?

The proper way is to hold the setup button till the light turns green, then press the Xfinity button and follow the on-screen instructions. This way the remote is paired to the cable box and TV. Just follow the instructions on your tv.
