This was last years concert that my university put on in December. (I'm one of the clarinets btw). This was one of the songs we performed. The concert also included the marching band, jazz band, Brazilian drum-line, and the university's acapella group.

Hey so this is a project I worked on for my Communications Class. Legend has it that my university, the main building, Maxcy Hall, is haunted, as it used to be an orphanage before it became a university. And every time you step on the emblem in the center of the quad, you become cursed. So what really happens when you step on the emblem? Lets find out!!

Ok, speaking as a white woman who grew up in predominantly black areas,I used to live going to cafe's to dance. Had a guy once say"you dance like a black girl", and my best friend (who was Creole) said no, she dances like a white girl with rhythm and soul. That's what I noticed most here. Why do we always take out the authenticity of people's culture and Americanize or Westernize it? Unless this was the team to the step, in my opinion, the uniform is a total disrespect to the culture and authenticity of the Art Step. I hope that this was their theme for this particular step performance.
