Hood was a failed design as proved in ww1.😢😢😢
I think the first picture isnt Yamato, its Musashi
Kv1 l11🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Big ist Battle Ship ever made buy Human beings 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 Wow 😮😳😮😳😳 from America 🙏
Nice tank
A bit of history there 👍🇯🇵
Funny how our new(old) warships are sloped too 🤌🏼 oh for how far back we go when freedom isnt free
Awesome video you rock! I love than tank
You need an aircraft technician to repair that engine, 4 dudes minimum who are qualified to work on the fire control system, a firefighter to replace the automatic fire suppression system. A box of crayons to keep the crew engaged. A stoner to replace the smoke canisters, and finally a real mechanic to fix it up after the Ukrainians abuse it
A good comedy video. The Chi-Ha and the Ha-Go were certainly good examples of the Japanese industry. And remember, there is no correlation between the Japanese tanks' success early in the war and their campaigns at the time facing enemies with no tanks, or nothing more advanced than a Panzer 1. (Jap Tanks were the worst of the war, even Italy had some redeeming features)
It would be cool if it moved 😅
My favorite carrier and my azurlane waifu
The battle at Hampton roads proved the usefulness of ironclads. Britain and France already had several, and were ceasing construction of wooden ships. The duel between the Monitor, and Virginia proved that ironclads were actually going to be the future, and there was no more room left for wooden fleets.
Zumwalt class isn't battleship.It's destroyer.
Its good but they put the same gun on the first variant of them1 Abrams and the gun is a 1950s gun
Yeah, because the gun was better than the 120 at the time. Plus the ammo made up for how old the cannon was.
BULLSH^T!
The greatest general that ever lived
Lol that's definitely debatable
Germany just needed more trained crews and Panthers!
Leopard 2 ?? 😂😂😂
I mean they both have turrets
It was also probably the most unreliable piece of crap to ever walked the battlefield
Vous devriez partager avec l Ukraine mieux que le f16 pour l appui
My favourite plane
They were far from perfect. Constant transmission and final drive breakdowns and they only had 40mm of amour on the sides and rear. As ammunition was stored in racks on the sides, one hit there and the tank was toast, along with the crew.
Ich bitte deutsch zu sprechen wenn wir über den Panther reden !!!!
Bester Panzer des Krieges
Too complicated, too late and too unreliable. They could have done sloped armour and a big gun years before.
Yeah but considering it's transmission was made of cardboard
You showed the wave motion gun but didn't mention it?
Nothing in comment between panther and leopard 2 besides they were both “medium tanks”
Why is the Japanese battleship called "The Mighty Battleship Yamato" when this ship became obsolete with the creation of the aircraft carrier? This battleship behemoth would serve very well in WWI, but by WWII, it was useless. The Japanese brass should have parked this ship in Japan and scrap the metal for something useful. Instead, the Battleship Yamato rest on the seafloor 1,200 feet down and about 50 miles southwest of Kyushu, Japan.
I might be wrong but I think this behemoth of a battleship only fired her guns in anger once, during the battle of Samar. The Japanese fought an action according to a battle plan that resulted in Admiral Halsey chasing ghosts with his 3rd fleet of modern, fast battleships leaving the forces conducting the landing operation in Leyte Gulf without any protection by heavy units. Then Japanese Admiral Kurita showed up with his center force of four battleships including Yamato and eight cruisers, six heavy two light, barreling down on the escort carriers and destroyers of Taffy 3. This could and should have been a death sentence for admiral Clifton Spragues forces. But his destroyers literally sacrificed themselves fighting a delaying action. US losses were heavy, two escort carriers, two destroyers and one destroyer escort were sunk, four escort carriers damaged, several destroyers and destroyer escorts damaged, 25 planes lost, but Kurita, at this point convinced to face much heavier forces, turned around and ran, losing 3 of his four heavy cruisers to mostly air attack. The landing operation in Leyte miraculously wasn’t swatted. And Nimitz send a message to Halsey that became legendary. “Where is the 3rd fleet the world wonders”. The last part was just a random filler to make decryption more difficult and should have been removed after decryption but for some reason wasn’t. The somewhat sensitive Halsey had a fit of rage on his bridge when he got handed the message finally feeling criticized, exposed, blamed by his superior, probably not too far from the truth. 😎
Some misinformation on this short.
The Yamato had a great many very awe-inspiring aspects to its construction and capabilities, but the 'ability to carry a float plane' was a very common ability for many ships in the American and Japanese Navys.
Well it was a good tank but they lost of the balltte of kurks in Ukraine
And the thing is the Sherman had a 3 (kills) to 1 (loss) KDR against em. Just shows that the Americans were just a better force overall.
Isn’t it at the bottom of the sea? I mean all at work and they still rules oh yeah, the USA lol😅
And no, non of it survived to panther 2
On one side it was a good tank, it had good speed and fantastic firepower with good armor, on the other side it was abselute garbage- its speed was nerfd with speed control so the final drives or any other part of the drive train would not break down, its armor was terrible for anything fireing at it from the side and the speed of the firepower was slow due to the lack of unity sight meaning the gunner could only see trough his main sight and it would be like looking at the world trough a slit and ths commander did not have a override So the commander (who was unable to do anything) was giving orders to a gunner (who was blind) And dont get me started on the nightmare that was changing any part of the drivetrain. Over all it was a garbage tank with some good hardstats
Don’t forget that it breaks down every 40 m and no one can fix it because it’s that complicated. so no one can fix it and parts are really complicated so you can’t get them normally from other vehicles. Well done. You’ve got a torrent don’t move on offensive war Also don’t forget only 1600 was made. And a tank which actually influenced modern vehicles was the conqueror it may have not seen action in World War II. It was five days late but was the first ever all around tank which laid the foundations and this vehicle is called the conqueror
Total bescheuert
Not true. Post war historian mythos. Everything after the initial combat trials was pretty reliable.
There's so much wrong in your text. 1. 1600 panther made? I think you are refering the Tiger series numbers. 6000 panthers were made. 2. The conqueror was first made in 1955. You are refering to the centurion. 3. The Panther D might have been a conplete disaster it was a huge step for a "test". The later versions were much more reliable. Do research lad.
@@haparal still don’t forget they break down a lot more than they work
@@Isaacthegamer123 that again is only true for the early version. Most panther A and G were as realiable as any other tank from other nation. Stop sayingg stuff you know nothing about. Only thing the Panther A and G suffered was a risk of fire with an issue of how the fuel was transported into the engine. And that could be prevented with crew skill. Do reasearch lad.
Didn't do very well enough apparently. Thanks allies for showing this "German engineering marvel" how we do it.
It was the worst tank in IIww with battle readiness below 10%. Overcomplicated and unreliable, luckily was the final nail in the coffin of german panzer divisions 😂
The panther was not a fucking marvel. Like 40 out of 150 or something broke down before even reaching the battlefield at Kursk. Panther was fucking awful.
Question, "What do you call an A-10 flying on the right Wing of an AC-130 Spectre Gunship "??? "Tag-Team from HELL "...
Falling for Nazi propaganda in 2023 is just wild
My grandpa had photos of this plane & others during his time in the service
It would help if you at least pronounce Yamato correctly. Yam-at-oh. Very short and clipped. NOT Yam-ahh-toe.
How about giving some credit to the designers of the airplane not the airplane itself what is wrong with you people engineers design airplanes for a purpose and that's why they get paid the big bucks It's not the airplane It's the engineers that design the airplane Got it, good now shut the f****** and get your ass in gear for the engineers
It was broken all the time
Yeah .. that's why only panters type G were decent enough for combat ... Before that ?? Not so ....
The Bismarck the famous German Battleship. Was put out of action by a obsolete biplane torpedo bomber, taking out her rudder! Then the British fleet finished her off!
