@@migsterman. sure but if the Kenton only passes one channel at a time how do 16 midi recordings reach their intended devices separately? Most of my synths do midi over usb so I’m ok, I was just trying to determine if the Kenton was worth getting and I don’t believe it is.

The actual "eye" is 20mm the thread is 25mm long, the "eye" with the rubber cover on is about 30mm so it should be OK, don't worry if the thread is too long you can always cut it with a saw, thanks very much for your comment.

@@migsterman. Thanks very much. Just got around to testing my unit using your video and it more or less matches. I think any differences are to do with the volume level I have my Focusrite Scarlett 18i8's monitor outputs or something but overall it responds in a similar fashion to yours.

​@@migsterman. No brother the 60$ dollars is for two versions of updates for example from reaper 7 through 8.99. I did a research on that and pretry much for every two versions cycle there was a 4 year distance until you need to pay again....and tbh its fair more than enough for what repaer gives us. I evaluating for about a year and I made a decent configuration there (e.g global sampler, midi editor optimizing and many more) and I can say proudly I'm one step from the purchase.😊

Hi, it doesn’t say in the manual, at the moment due to the cable management and position of my desk it is a bit difficult to go behind and measure the output voltage with my multimeter, if I can get around to do it I will let you know.

I´ve never had them falling down but it is true (they are firm with the synth on it, once you take the synth off they have a bit of play sideways I suppouse it depends where you buy them from it might be thinner ones i´m not sure. I have to apply quiet a bit of force (upwards)to take the brakets off if I want to move them. The best that you can do is go to your local hadware shop and try the bracket on the rail so you can see how hard they go in or out.

At the end of the day it’s up to your ears, what it sounds good to me it might sound rubbish to you, I look at the confort because is not point to buy some headphones that you have to take off every 30 mins because they are hurting your ears. You can’t go wrong with either of them but one it’s close back and the other one is open so if you are recording vocals with it I recommend to use close back ones. You should go to your local Music Store try them on and buy whichever feels better in your head and ears and then listen to them for a long time using reference tracks to get use to their sound.

You can mix vocals in any DAW, it's up to you which one you like best for your work flow, interface design.... For mixing/mastering you can use VST's like Ozone......

Hola, está midi thru box es puramente midi no lleva ningún software solo enchufar y tocar. Si tu interfaz de audio no lleva midi la Kenton no se puede enchufar a ella directamente, pero tampoco podrías enchufar ningún teclado vía midi. Lo que si podrías intentar es si tienes algun teclado moderno conectarlo a través del puerto usb/midi al Daw y usar las conexiones midi del teclado para conectarlas a la Kenton pero tienes que estar seguro que tu teclado transmita midi vía puerto Usb y puertos Midi al mismo tiempo. Las interfaces de audio han bajado bastante de precio y te puedes conseguir una interfaz de 4 canales y midi bastante barata. Espero que esto te sirva de ayuda. Gracias por tu comentario. Una cosa que se me ha olvidado comentarte es que si tu interfaz de audio no lleva midi supongo que igual es pequeñita de solo 2 canales y a no ser que tengas una mesa de mezclas o patch panel a la que enchufes tus sintetizadores y después la pases por la interfaz de audio es una tarea bastante ardua tener que andar enchufando y desenchufando la salida de audio de cada sinte que quieras grabar con tu Daw. Pues como dices, evita que te salga el mensaje, el funcionamiento es exactamente el mismo, no hay diferencia. Ten en cuenta que Reaper te está dejando usar el software gratis con todas sus funciones, por lo que te cuesta la licencia normal merece la pena, es lo que te gastas un sabado por la noche y estas ayudando a los programadores a mejorar el programa y que sigan actualizandolo sin mencionar que te estan dando una licencia de por vida "no es anual". Pocas compañias hacen eso hoy en día!!! y que conste que a mi Reaper (Cockos) ni me da nada ni me patrocina, yo he pagado mi licencia porque me gusta el software (antes era usuario de protools) y no me arrepiento del cambio. @@migsterman. I just swapped the velour ear pads from one pair of AKG K240 headphones that have a blown driver to another set that sound OK. There is a slot on the rim that you slide the flap of the ear pad into and you just have to rotate the ear pad and it slides the flap right around the driver assembly without having to fuss trying to get the flap over the phones.

I don´t work with MPCs but if I find out how to do it I will let you know. As far as I know you can use the MPC as a Midi Controller to trigger the VST sounds (like a midi keyboard).
