All I see is fire | A one man crew short film - long version
The long version of the short film I submitted for the Nikon festival 2024 where the theme was "fire"
A fireman has saved a girl from a dangerous fire but once arrived home he seems worried.
It was a challenge as I did everything myself, but it conforts me that I am able to make something even thought it's been a long time it didn't do a short film and even though I got really low budget.I was able to plan my shots, organize how I will shot them, directing the actors, taking caare of the pizzas, make the vfx for the fire, edit it in a suspensful way..
I hope next time I'll be able to work with a crew.

Laser whip done in Houdini.That was an exercise to practive particle simulation along a curve!The curve movement was done with the vellum solver.I was inspired by the bad guy in Iron man 2, wanted to do the same move with a whip on each hand but couldn't manage to get the animation as I suck at animation. music : Born vilain by AciDrome

Bridge destruction and explosion done in Houdini. The main reason why I started Houdini was to destroy things. At the beginning I used a free version of rayfire in 3DS max with some very basic fracturing as simulation. I came a long way onto this!

Ayant récemment fait l’acquisition d'une caméra 360 j'en ai profité pour filmer le défilé aérien avec. Avant a chaque fois que je prenais des vidéos ou des photos j'en ratais certain parce que je me focalisais sur un autre. Thanks a lot! Actually I used automated tracking tool in nuke and exported it in Blender, and the bushes that I added help masking some part where the perspective is bit strange

I've visited something similar once but I was so scared :D.
I was scared a bit with the bicycle but turned out ok. The most difficult part was at the end of the video as it was very long and so very unstable around the middle of the line
