I’m just a girl from Georgia raised in a mixed marriage. Yep, my father was a Southern Rebel and my mom a Northern Yankee. I want to share my love for cooking and my family’s cultures while I teach others how to prepare our delicious recipes. We might laugh a little too! The history of my family like so many others is not set in just one culture but many. So if you want to learn how to cook or just add some new recipes to your family’s I hope you will join me.

I thought since ground beef is used in so many recipes it would be helpful to teach y’all how to do it.
BTW this is Peggy @tamedwildflower. I have no idea when I set that up! lol
Will definitely try this!
Can’t wait to try this technique for peeling hard boiled eggs, I always have the worst trouble with them! Great videos!
That sounds like some really tasty Chili! I like beans in my Chili. 🤩
I love bean soup. This sounds like a yummy recipe! 🥰
It was!
Wow, I love what you've done with the Italian Casserole! That looks scrumptious and I can't wait to try it! 🥰
Gotta make this❤
Great idea about rolling that dough out across the top...thanks for the tip! 😊
@@BopchisCorner thank you for watching!
It’s always nice to see different techniques in the kitchen! I keep a can close to my stove & pour the grease in a can ( leftover from whatever I had in can) When the can gets full, I toss it in the garbage can. Either way works, but you’re right, never done the drain.
I agree, grease does not belong in drains 🙂I actually save my grease so I can make suet for my chickens in the winter...they love it 😋
Your channel just popped up. Just finished watching, and this looks pretty yummy 😋I’ve never seen anything like it, but I will have to try it. I did pigs in a blanket on my channel in the last year and a old grade school recipe a few months ago 😊
uh oh...I think you lost your casserole 😔...great video though...thanks for sharing! 😊
@@BopchisCorner it’s completed in another video.
@@RebelYankeeGerl I will check it out 🙂
Hmmm. Well I would sure give it a try. I love a Chile dog ( don’t need a bun ) rice would be good I think. Thank you.

Hi. Thank you so much. I am a single mom. I have two boys disabled severe nonverbal Autism and they would love this recipe m I appreciate it so much.
@@CourtneyDavis44 oh I hope y’all like it! Please let me know!
It’s SO GOOD
Just a thought...do you think it cooked quicker because of the size of the burner that it was on? Would "low" on a bigger burner be the same as "low" on a smaller burner? I don't know 🤷♀.. but I'm glad you checked it 😅 Thanks for sharing 😊
@@BopchisCorner that is a great question and I truly do not know. But I will check into it. The bottom of the pot is covered by the entire burner on either one so I would think it didn’t matter but I’m gonna research and find out.
Thank for sharing! I'm definitely going to make some your way 😋
She’s my mama. I make mine this way but also add a little Worcestershire sauce to them 🤤 so good!
New friend here to support your channel 😊Great video! Looks delicious 😋Thanks for sharing! 🤩

Rice Recipe 2c of water 1 1/2 c Baton calrose rice Rinse rice and let soak for about 15 minutes. Drain off water and place in a medium pot. Pour the 2 cups of water over the rice and put on stove on high until it comes to a boil. Turn the stove to low and cover the pot. Set a timer for 20 minutes. After about 10 minutes check the rice. If all the water has absorbed into the rice, turn the stove off, return the lid to the pot, and let it steam for another 10 minutes. If it still has a lot of water in the rice, put the lid back on and check again in five minutes. Then turn the stove off and let steam for five more minutes. Your rice is ready to use in casseroles or as a side.
Yum, that looks like something I would love! Definitely gonna try it!! I'm looking forward to more yummy recipes. 🥰
Hope you enjoy
