Bronco Winter Shenanigins
Just a bit of fun in the snow with my 2022 2 door Bronco with the Sasquatch package and Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 coilovers. Sorry it's a bit repetitive. I'll try and film some different locations soon.

Bronco Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 Ride Height Coilover View
Просмотров 2003 месяца назад
Closeup GoPro footage showing my new Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 front coliovers in action both at ride height and also hitting a jump. Currently, I am getting about 4" of droop travel and 5.57" of bump travel at the wheel up front. In back the droop travel is the same at 4" but there's a little more bump travel at about 6".
Bronco Front Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 GoPro Closeup

Some useful footage showing my new Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 front coliovers in action hitting a jump. I already destroyed the stock bottom out bumpers on a bigger jump previously. I bought some longer rear Jeep Liberty bump stops that I plan on trimming and installing at some point. I'll cut them to be still longer than stock for some extra big hit cushioning.

Took the Bronco with the new Eibach Pro Truck coilovers down a sweet hydro line trail close to my home. What a blast! I had to be extra cautious due to being alone and no winch.
Jumping Again After Tuning Eibachs

I finally finished tinkering with the ride heights for my new Bronco Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 coilovers! Now she handles jumps without bottoming harshly. At some point it would be great to get hydraulic front bump stops and limit straps but for now it's an improvement.

Another testing session with the new Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 coilovers on my 2022 2 door Bronco with the 2.3L engine. My Bronco also has the Ford Performance tune on it and has 330HP on premium fuel! I removed the front sway bar for added articulation and the vehicle is still super stable on road and is mind blowing off road considering that it isn't a long or even mid travel suspension! Eibach Pro Truck Coilovers With Front Swaybar Off Test

One final test of my new suspension set up on my 2022 2 door Bronco with the Sasquatch package. This time I removed the front sway bar and it really lets the front suspension work independently off road. On road the vehicle still feels pretty much the same as when it's installed, at least it does with my lighter 2 door with the 2.3L engine. I lowered the ride height to pretty much the lowest th...
Further testing my new Bronco Eibach Pro Truck Coilovers
Просмотров 2354 месяца назад
I ended up lowering the ride height again after the initial testing to get a better balance between up and down suspension travel and high speed stability. The Eibach coliovers allow me to drive faster over some pretty gnarly terrain vs the stock Bilstein ESCV shocks. They are also an improvement on the road when driving over small bumps and railroad crossings etc. So far I'm blown away with th...
First Test Of Bronco Eibach Pro Truck Coliovers
Просмотров 1014 месяца назад
After lowering the ride height of the stock Eibach coilovers I immediately felt that I had more control at higher speeds. Unlike the factory Bilstein Sasquatch package shocks, the Eibach's ride taller in their motion range and have great bottom out bumpers. The Bilstein's also have digressive valving, which I hated whereas the Eibach.s use linear valving which is a much better set up to me.

Added preload to Fox 2.5 coilovers!

I added more preload to the Fox 2.5 coilovers up front for added up travel and a taller ride height. The suspension has a more useable range of travel now. Thanks to Accutune Off-Road for an amazing custom tune! Now I can fine tune the ride with the DSC adjusters!

Forced patina on I did on URSA International Musso Bowie!
Thank God there wasn't any kids on dirtbikes or quads.....this idiot going 70 mph down the trail would of un alived em.
Does the back of the blade come sharpened, or was it something to specifically ask for?
Does the false edge come sharpened, or does one need to request that? Also, the original and Ontario Bagwell bowies were true fighting knives, light and fast. It seems that some makers are making them very thick (close to or at .25 inches) and demonstrating them on cutting kindling, and such. How thick is the new URSA, and how much does it weigh?
@@MrPotatoesLatkie Great questions! It's been a while since I ordered the knife so I don't remember whether or not the false edge was already sharpened. You don't want it to be like the main edge as the geometry of the whole last third of the blade is what makes it so effective. I don't have a tape measure handy but the Ursa Bowie isn't designed for cutting wood. It's definitely a fast fighting knife. Hope that kind of helps.
Out of curiosity, why are you running the locker for that road? Shouldn't be enough slip to necessitate rolling the rear axle at the same RPM. (Genuine question, not trying to be snarky or anything) Just ordered the same suspension and hope to regain the lost clearance from having about 500 lbs in added metal from bumpers, skids, winch and sliders on a '23 Badlands.
@@MysteryHeadshot It's a great question! I was trying out different settings to see what each would do. I happened to film the time I had the rear locker engaged.
Danke für die Vorstellung, wunderschönes Bowie!
Thanks for the video this is what I was looking for. Are these the Eibach Stage2r? How fast are you going in the video? Did you lift your truck?
@@icouch My shocks are the Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 coilovers WITHOUT any external reservoirs. As for speed in the video, it varied so it's hard to say. It was the first time driving that particular trail. Thanks for watching! 😊
Billy convinced Lynn Thompson that a large cross guard would get snagged in clothing on retrieval. This was reflected in the original TrailMaster. Then Bill contradicted himself with this blade.
I've been experimenting with ride heights with the new shocks and I've found that the smoothest and fastest I could drive was when I had backed off on the spring preload to allow for.ore droop at ride height than how they came in the box. I don't really need the vehicle lifted but I DO want to maximize traction and control when I'm driving fast off road. Currently I have the coilovers set to maximize the up travel instead for jumping but it affects the ride quality negatively when just bombing down trails so I'm going to put them back to having more droop again.
Bowie knives are cool and all but if you're not armed with a firearm and someone wants a knife well they're probably going to take your knife
Cool video! But why are you using a rear locker? You're going at a high speed and you seem to have good traction, and from my understanding, lockers should only be used when you're basically stuck or going over very uneven terrain at low speeds. I would be worried about destroying your diff or snapping an axle at speeds like that. Just my 2 cents!
@@junkhams Great point! I was experimenting with different settings and did end up finding that the vehicle drove better without the rear locker engaged in specific areas.
So he tested low speed, adjusted low speed, then drove fast over them and said “job done!” 🤔
How dare someone post a fun video on RUclips & not be a full depth review 😢 😭
Looks well balanced. Hopefully they sharpen the swedge too. True fighting bowies have a sharpened swedge for the infamous "backcut" move.
It actually looks a bit sturdier than a real Hell's Belle fighting bowie.
Where do you get it and how much?
Hey Mike very good as always 😘
ITS A RAT TAIL!!! 😡😡
How accurate? Distal tapering? What about heat treatment
I’m curious…I can’t find many videos with the low DSC fully open to absorb the bumps. Do you remember what the settings were on the low speed crawls?
Looks fun
Thank You for this post. I Just Ordered one from him. I didn't know what I was going to do, Because after Bill's passing I didn't want to Carry My HB any more. This looks like a perfect Answer. Thanks for the video and the info.
OMG I didn't know that Bill Bagwell had passed away! 😳
Just got some for my Gladiator from Accutune. I selected the Adventure Tune since it’s a daily and just on 35s.
Do offroad suspension increase your GVM?
Id like to see what that tang looks like
Mike how are you? It’s my birthday on the 6 Would love to see you sing get here if you can by video please xxoo
Hello my friend! Unfortunately, I don't sing right now. My voice has been affected by the cancer treatments.
hey man, thanks for your video, if you dont mind, would you please mention the truck you have ? the initial lift before you preload it and the final lift after the preload ? did the quality of the ride changed for the better. Thanks
Nice!
do u kindly have a link? many thanks and much respect

Hey Mike. Wondering what else you got going on with your suspension besides the Fox 2.5s. Any kind of lift kit, control arms, sway bars? Also your wheel/tire combo looks awesome.
I have JBA upper control arms and a 3" body lift on the truck. The rear end also features Carli dual rate coils, drop bracket and swaybar links. I also have a CORE 4X4 panhard bar and a Hellwig adjustable swaybar. Thanks for watching! 🤘🤘
Havent heard you do this one...... awesome!
Thanks brother. I appreciate it.
You might be getting close to coil bind.
I appreciate your observation but I was careful in not having that be an issue.
@@mikebromelow8514 as long as it bottoms out on the bump stop and not the shock you are g2g
What do you have the adjustments at for high/low speed
It depends on how and where I'm driving. Also, the weight of my truck varies and I'll tune the suspension accordingly.
@@mikebromelow8514 makes sense!! But let's just say during this video say you had no load what would you have it at?
@@at4life95 Low speed 3 clicks in from all the way soft and high speed 1 click in. That's my usual street set up. Off road is terrain and vehicle speed/weight dependent.
How does it ride compared to stock? Did you bolt on straight out of the box or get them tuned?
Wow what an awesome well balanced piece
beautiful bowie
guard is more Chinese than southern US but a nice piece. I'd worry about the steel quality and forge work, coming from Pakistan. 5160 is much more tolerant of bad forge work-green coal in th fire or working too hot to save time and effort- than fancier steel is, but still, doing it wrong reduces the quality of the steel. And that's assuming it *is* 5160, which i would not count on.
nice job
AWESOME
Nice, love the deep aggressive sound and rumble, it's not just raspy or crackly
Più bello dell' originale
Yeah, one of the better, if not best demonstration of the back cut 👍
Kind of you to say brother! Thanks for watching! 👍
@@mikebromelow8514 just the truth, np. I've seen other demo's and people seem to like to make things difficult...it ain't rocket 🚀 science. I just want my nemisis to bleed more faster than me. Is it too much to ask? Can you tell us what a woman is btw?
@@peterwilson1295 not sure what your question means?
@@mikebromelow8514 Lol so here in the states there was a confirmation hearing for a new supreme Court justice, and she was playing to the "agenda" and would not define what a "woman" was when asked by one of the senators... Ridiculous. So , I've been randomly keeping the ball rolling. You are not in the US maybe, or at least smart enough not to pay attention to the tube too much.
Can't have best of both.....want suspension that will take big hits its gonna ride lil rough on small slow stuff.....depends what's more important Adjusters are fine tuning not for revalving...revolving.... Would rather have lil firmer ride with more capability
With separate high speed and low speed valving you can tune them independently.
Correct. However, the main valving is going to dictate how soft and how firm a range of adjustment you will have. 2.5" shocks tuned to handle aggressive off road driving will definitely feel somewhat stiff on small road imperfections. Shocks with internal bypasses are a great option for keeping a smooth on road ride while maintaining the ability to absorb big hits. @@snivesz32
Very cool.
Cool video! Where did you get these? Are they the standard valving or custom tune by someone like Accutune? How is the daily driver street ride over small bumps?
I bought them custom tuned from Accutune Off-Road. Small bumps are better handled by the tires if you're interested in getting high performance off road suspension. I run 17x35" tires which help with the smaller bumps. These shocks really shine once you get up to speed over rougher terrain and the difference between these and budget shocks is night and day.
that truck became my dream just like the image
Thinking about getting these myself, how they holding up? Worth the price?
Worth every penny and more capable than I'm willing to push the truck! ;)
I have a Cold Steel Larado Bowie. Is it as fast as yout knife or just my need for more practice ?
The Laredo is heavier and slower but a better chopper.
Hello sir. Is there any way to contact you ?
If I get approved for my new truck I'm 10/10 getting this exhaust
Very nice... to my eyes there's a wee bit too much handle there?
Very interesting! Learned something new... Subscribed!
What's your overall impressions with the setup? Any preferences?
I usually run a lighter compression tuning for daily driving, then almost max out the adjusters when I'm going to hit the trails. Accutune Off-Road really gave me a great custom tune!
