Classical composers were the ‘rock stars’ of their day. I’d like to think that if those guys were around today, this is the kind of stuff that they’d be writing.
I made this for my own amusement and I have no wish to gain financially from it. In fact, if it leads to one person going out and buying a Nightwish album, I’d consider it a success!

Nightwish, без Тарьи полное гавно,нет души... Tarja ok....
This isn't the good version. Lacklustre delivery, substandard band and ruined by the arrangement and the naff vocalising she does at 2:59 and lack of a cool guitar solo. The original, NIGHTWISH version (as on the official video when she was 21) is the only version worth listening to. That's true genius.
I'm just an amateur who loves Nightwish, love the song and wanted to try my hand at playing it. It is the original Tarja, (naff???), vocal. I agree - the original is 100% better - but thanks for the feedback all the same.

Gute Musik ist gute Musik - egal ob sie aus dem Klassik, Pop, Rock, Jazz oder Blues Sektor kommt. Wenn jemand nahtlos über drei Oktaven singen kann, ist das schon mega klasse❤️👍👍👍👍 ich kenne auch aus dem Opernbereich nur wenige Sängerinen, die so gut sind.

Tarja's voice is extraordinary. The composer is a genius. I can't think of a comparable piece of music which invokes the drama and sense of epic that Sleeping Sun does. It is not surprising that people are moved to tears.
