@@VIVIDACAT I think you missed the initial point of the post. Like how Nubby said at the beginning they are F2P and I wished to gain a perspective from someone who plays like I do. I do know the sheer value of robin can potentially bring to my account already especially since I've already Vertically invested in a few limited units. But bringing up E6 for robin, or any limited character for the matter is quite outside of the scope of a F2P, the only exception being those rare few who saved from the very beginning of the game to use every single jade on one character to E6.

(Sorry for the long reply)❤ You seem to have a pretty stacked account considering you have all premier supports, except robin and are able to fully clear every endgame content. In my opinion, I feel if you don’t care about waifus and just want more long-term future value for your account. I would say pick Robin up if you have the jades to spare and aren’t saving for any other future characters. Here are 2 reasons as to why I would say that: Reason 1) Pure Fiction Meta wise, currently according to “prydwen” the 2 best supports for PF are Ruan Mei and Robin. From looking at your account and cause you said “PF is kinda still a struggle. I am assuming you’re mostly using “Himeko & Herta” in one team with “Clara hyper carry” in the other team. With both teams having to share one Ruan Mei. As Robin is basically the best in slot support for all follow up attack teams “Himeko & Herta”, if you get Robin it’ll free up your Ruan Mei for another team. Additionally, Robins 100% teamwide action advance which is really good in PF due to the mode having so little turns. Reason 2) Multi DPS teams I feel it is a coming trend that Hoyoverse is making more and more multi DPS teams, for example “DOT teams with multiple DOT appliers”, “Follow up teams with tipically 2 main damage dealers”, and “the blade and Jingliu duo dps team”. And these multiple DPS teams really want supports like Ruan Mei & Robin who can buff more than one DPS with their skill. However, due to Ruan Mei being best in slot in break teams “Firefly”, it can get a bit cumbersome when you’re planning to use another team that needs another teamwide buffer. So having a Robin is almost like having 2 Ruan Mei’s. Additionally, in the future if you decide to build Dr Ratio or even start to build a DOT team. Robin is a great support for Ratio with her 25% follow-up attacks Crit Dmg buff, and a great Raun Mei substitute for DOT teams with her Atk and Dmg % buffs. _______________________________________ “Extra Opinions” If you’re only pulling for Feixiao because your worried about wind coverage, I feel you don’t need to worry about it too much… cause you do have Firefly who applies fire weaknesses and a Silver Wolf E1. Enemies so far also have more than one weakness typing and I keep seeing wind weaknesses along side Imaginary weaknesses, sooo this issue might get solved just by building up your Ratio who Robin is best support for. Also, a reason why I didn’t suggest you start building DOT teams and pulling for Kafka and Black Swan is due to how expensive 2 “five-star character” in a single patch is for f2p especially if you get unlucky… DOT teams aren’t doing the best in the meta right now, and you will most likely want both Kafka and Black Swan for DOT. Which again, is very expensive if you get unlucky.

@@prixivus85 @prixivus85 As a free to play and a waifu over meta player, I tend to stick to “Horizontal” investment. However, I do invest vertically every now and then in moderation. I feel as free to plays, it is better to prioritize unlocking different team play styles “DOT, follow up, super break…etc” to take advantage of the rotating end game buffs in PF, MOC and AS. A past example I can think of is how Pure Fiction heavily favoured and buffed DOT users during Black Swans release and people who didn’t build DOT teams during that time had a very hard time clearing PF. So after that experience, I am basically convinced horizontal investment is more sustainable and better for free to plays in the long run, as Hoyoverse will undoubtably continue to release new team concepts and play styles in the future that will need a whole new set of different units. I only ever invest vertically when I feel I have all the current team play styles and basis covered, which was before super break entered the meta. Before super break, I was moderately investing vertically, I tried pulling for Topaz’s light-cone (lost 70/20😭), I pulled for Jingyuans light-cone for Himeko, and I was saving up for either Kafka’s signature light-cone or Fu Xuan E1. After super break came, I had to go back to horizontal investment and pick up the necessary characters. So to answer your question regarding vertical investment, if you feel like you got most of your play styles and team covered or can brute force the end game modes, I would recommend investing vertically for either signature light-cones or Eidolons of units that are very strong in the meta like “Firefly, Acheron and Ruan Mei”. BUT NEVER GO ABOVE E2!!! ITS tooooo expensive to go over E2!!! Regarding your Acheron question, if you have 3 other nihility characters already built, and since your account doesn’t have Robbin or Topaz. I would say yes to Acheron having more value for your account as your Acheron team will come online faster and easier since you already have the pieces. Additionally, Acheron is great in all 3 end game modes while Feixiao is a bit lacking in PF due to her being single target. Hope this helps friend❤👍

During the livestream it was stated by Owlbert that "players can choose between casual mode and normal mode when facing formidable enemies", which I feel only the weekly and big story bosses 100% fit that description. However I also feel that casual mode might be available for other battles like stagnant shadow where we fight elite enemies, but I am not 100% certain. Also, cheers for the comment!!!

yeah, i feel the same. it feels hard to play everyday in wuwa. recently they release metalFX on iOS and it made the game crash so often its impossible to do dailies.

@@NubbyDew haha i was even consideringrunning both if it was to happen. But no i got Yunli and lost the 50/50 for HuoHuo and got Bronya instead. Now she doesn't fit in any teams right now but she's still good. Now my Xueyi/Harmony MC/Gallagher/Hanya (didn't have her till this banner) team is complete and i have started working on the yunli/Lynx/Tinyun and then... probably March 7th imaginary? team next.

You better wait for Lingsha or a new sustainer than pulling Yunli as one

In my opinion, early game in Honkai Star Rail is before you can start to farm 5-star relics, which is before AR40. As most players at this time can’t really gear up their characters with the best relics yet, and some might be just using any unit they have, whether it is a 4 star or 5 star to clear the story without worrying about fully building the character or a team. Seeing as you are at AR45 and finished Penacony, I’d say you are most likely at early mid game where you are just starting out trying to fully build up one or two teams to clear the end game modes like “MOC, PF, and AS”. If that is the case, these are my suggestions: Assuming Both Yunli and Feixiao are main damage dealers (assuming because I haven’t seen Feixiaos kit yet), both of them will give good value to your account but they are not must pulls anymore as you already have a team strong enough to finished Penacony with probably low to mid investment. Save till you have 180 pulls for a guaranteed Feixiao, I am saying this because you said “she looks cool” and honestly it is also the reason why I am going to be pulling for her as well XD #waifuovermeta. Then you are free to use the extra pulls (if you have any) to try your luck for Yunli if you so wish. But if Feixiao “rumored follow up mechanic” is a big deal breaker for you, I suggest you wait for additional information *cough* (leaks). LAST TIP!!! Even though you can farm 5 star relics at AR40, you should still focus more on your traces and talent materials. Because at AR40 you are only guaranteed one 5 star relic a run, while at AR50 you are guaranteed two 5 star relics which is the max. (Sorry for long reply owo ❤)

Cheers for the feedback!!! 🙏 At first I did thought about considering the rankings more on each locations main story quest, but I felt it might be a bit unfair to The Xianzhou Luofu as the story ended at a cliffhanger and it didn't felt complete in my eyes. Thus, I based the ranking off cool locations and area design more. I do want to set up a simple point system for future location tier list though, where I will give each location points based on categories like "Story, design, and features" and rank them based on the points.😆

@@NubbyDew It's not entirely unfair to the Loufu imo, they utterly dropped the ball on Sanctus Medicus and Dan Heng, that's part of why it felt incomplete. They resolved many plot threads, just poorly.

I do still have a different perspective on Jade's value as a hybrid sub-dps and harmony unit in follow up team outside pure fiction tho, which is mainly due to the existence of Robin being a strong support character in the topaz and Dr Ratio follow up teams. Alsooo I REALLY LIKE HER BIG ASSSS HAT 😂😂😂 I feel it gives her a lot more personality aside from her already 2 big ones haha. All in all, cheers for the insight and comment. 🙏

This is a great comment and it adds another perspective!!! When I made this video, my sole knowledge of Jade and her kit came from the 2.3 livestream and my own experience in playing hsr as a f2p. So 100% agree that my understanding is lacking as what I see and say is based off my own limited experience and personal theories. For the qq and Jade comparison it is a bit of a stretch. However I did base it off the 3 end gamemodes of hsr which to me is "moc, pure fiction, and apocalyptic shadows". From what I seen, Jade is hands down better than qq in pure fiction, and Jade should work well with investment in the 2 other gamemodes. Qq on the other hand, from what I've seen works well "with good rng" in moc and apocalyptic, while still usable in pure fiction with "very" high investment in a team. Jade and qq in the same team just completely slipped my mind tho. 😅👍 For the 2nd point, I feel Jade might be a support that is ahead of her time as from the 2.3 livestream it is stated that teammate buffed by Jade takes damage when they attack, which to me, seems like a great support for blade (or any other character like blade in the future) who wants to take damage to trigger effects like blades follow up attacks. but in regards of a blade team, she does have to compete team supports like bronya, ruan mei, and sparkle. Which I feel she can make up for by being a sub dps doing damage.👍 All in all, my views and opinions could very well be wrong or perhaps not very well explained. So don't let a NUBBY tell you how to enjoy a game!!! 😆 Thank you for hearing my video out tho. 🙏

Valid point and thanks for pointing it out!!! The comparison with Qingque is indeed a bit of a stretch as one is more of a sub dps while the other is a main dps. However, I still feel that if a newer player is simply looking for a quantum type damage dealer or breaker, it is still valid to consider Qingque as a cheap (Free) but less effective substitute for Jade in pure fiction.

As Jade isn't out yet, I believe most people (me included) wont have the chance to test her out themselves, so I can't make any promises in how strong she is in making "pure fiction easy mode". But if you are a long time player of hsr and can already clear pure fiction and get all the stars, Jade to me feels more like a luxury unit to perhaps clear pure fiction faster. Additionally if you are a newer player with limited resource, I feel it's hard to justify saving for Jade when Ruan Mei and Firefly are currently available. Good point!!! Yeaa it might not had been fair to compare Jade to other popular meta harmony characters as Jade feels more like a erudition sub dps with some buffing capabilities. But considering Ruan Mei banner (in my opinion the most universal harmony character that can be used in most teams) is currently the banner before Jade's banner, I feel this should be taken into consideration by a new f2p player on who they try to pull with limited resources.👍

Honestly this depends on the player. If the player likes jade for her character or her abilities, I said go for it!!! Don't let a nub on RUclips tell you how to spend ur stellar jades. But I still find it a bit hard to recommend Jade to a f2p player that is just starting the game with no safe meta picks like Fu xuan or Ruan Mei. 😅👍

Both Jade and Qingque are both quantum characters following the path of erudition. I do agree Jade is made for pure fiction, while Qingque is better in MOC. But I feel Qingque a free 4 star unit being usable in pure fiction to fight quantum weak enemies should be taken into consideration. Even though Jade is undoubtedly better than Qingque in pure fiction.

I agree open world game don't really feel good on mobile. Honestly, one of the reason's why I quit Genshin was because I couldn't keep up with the expanding open world. From what I have seen, I feel zzz will be that type of game where people will log in, have fun quick and log out which is one of the reasons why I am really looking forward to zzz releasing XD

@@NubbyDew the only reason it was on mobile is people can easily spend money because the alternative ways to pay. It's not like you can bring the whole pc to 11/7 just to pay monthly subscription
