😂😂😂 that Paul is a funny guy
Goodness your wiring is next level👍
you think it only having 3 positions on the shock tower and 2 positions on th arms for the shocks is a limitation? I really want to pick one of these up but im weary of that limitation compares to the5 and 3 on the schumacher ld2 which is my current car.
It does look a nice bit of kit. I love my XR10 pro but most of the settings never get touched. I like how that one just has the essential ones that do get tweaked 👍. The Voltage display is a winner too 👌.
That's a very nice ESC, but it is rather pricey though at almost £260. Seems a bit of a high price to pay for a small amount of convenience. But each to their own I suppose....
I did it the stupid way and ordered from Europe... and i thought was just gonna be £220..... I may have forgotten about customs charges 😕 so yeah it ended up being ouchy on the price
Oof needs reading glasses
It is a small screen.... but far clearer than i managed to capture on camera! My eyes ain't great, but can read it easy enough
Fancy ESC. I've been tempted to give one a go myself. It's nice to see what's going on directly from the car's ESC screen. I run the Corsatec Esc and I love it so would you say it drives as well as the CXT10?
Yeah I reckon it's as smooth as the Corsatec, if not a bit smoother. I liked it more than I thought I would. It's staying in our main race 2wd for now. Grab one, you won't t regret it
You didnt need that much turbo
Yeah I do.... gotta make up for my poor cornering skills on the straight 🤣
Nice
Love Mick’s ‘confessional’ segment particularly like the lighting in his last bit. Paul was know doubt the star ⭐ Foxy, always on point. Yeti is getting way toooooooo good cause he buys loads of kit and races ‘all the time.’
i've barely improved... i think im back to where I was last year after a dismal summer lol. I do have a secret weapon - but it aint any RC gear.
@ secret weapon is intriguing…
I'm sure i told you the secret weapon.... I haven't been very secret about it lol
Some good looking blokes on your videos 😂
I will come say hello next week. Great channel 👍🏻
Great to meet you Martin <3
Excellent video! Barry and Paul bounce off each other well.
Great video keep up the good work👍🏼🏎️💨

I thought we didn't talk about Barry?
Next week boys ill join you .
Another epic night!! Toy cars rule! Having a top set of teammates helps too!!
Really enjoyed last night, great atmosphere and good results all round ❤
You wont be disappointed :D ran mine 2 weeks ago and with some minor tweaks it was a beast around the track !
Super round of the race meeting, well done all in your finals. Alfie gets a cracking result 👏 driving looked great.
Have u got a link we're to buy this from please
Thanks Barry, nearly learned something from Ben Simpson completely sorting your car. But you couldn’t remember what he’d done 😮 seriously though, great to watch and particularly liked the etherial look Barry at the end - god bless Barry. if only he wasn’t a far better driver than most us 😅
Hi Chris, it was the the steering arms, front toe and camber he sorted out for me 😂😂
@@Barry303RC TBF I thought your captured loads of the event. It’s pretty hectic thinking and acting on what to do with your, race and filming on top! I’ve rarely managed it 👍
Nice overview, no doubt this is a a great package and I like all it comes with. Shame the 2x receivers have Ariel’s but thats just a bit nit picky, although I have had bad experience with external Ariel’s in the past! Love the receiver pricing compared to Sanwa & Futaba, their prices are crazy. Good to see they have some serious competition
'Not according to plan' LOL thats exactly what I thought after a crash which I thought wasnt so serious...
I’ve drilled out the nubs on the bulkhead and used m3 nuts and bolts through them. Haven’t broken a nub since!
There's a few of these running over here they seem very good straight away.
Great channel I have liked following and rang the door bell looking forward to your next show 👍
Enjoyed watching this back (after the live extravaganza I mean experiment) 👍👍👍
Pretty cool wish we had grass tracks here in the states cars would definitely be a lot cleaner lol.
Just started building mine yesterday, I was watching this hoping that I hadn’t made any cock ups 😂. All good other than I haven’t got any thread lock so I may have to go back and redo the screws running into metal again. It’s a fairly straight forward build as far as I’m aware which is probably just as well for me as it’s the first rc kit I’ve built, I’ve had plenty of rc cars I’ve stripped down for maintenance but never built one from scratch before. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the series to check my work against 👍
Rob Fox on the thumbnail means an instant upvote from me!
Was a great weekend . My 1st big non club style race and really enjoyed it Great vibes all weekend
wow, I usually go to the Tamiya Junkies events held at RHR, nowhere near as busy as this. Nice1..
What a belter of a video. The interviews are gold, particularly Rob, James and Matt 😂 I’d love take part on one of these. Hat off to Rob and all who made it happen 👏👏👏
Great weekend, nice to meet you yeti👍🏻
This track looks awesome, great video👍
That was a brilliant vid! .. looked a great day
that track looks fun, i need to get my finger out and visit!
Watch again at 0.5 speed, makes it sounds like everyone is drunk. 🤣
Fantastic job, really enjoyed watching. Great to hear from the drivers and their progress. Superb job all and great work Yeti for pulling it together 👊
Hi is there any more videos on there way ?
I'm currently on the fence wanting to try a new 2wd and it's a toss up between the B7 a msb1 I've drove the B7 and was really impressed how well it drove, unfortunately no one has a mugen local so it would be a small gamble but from what you've said it doesn't seem like the msb1 is a bad car.
I really like the Mugen and from the little time I had on carpet track last week it seems to fit my driving style. I think it's going to be my go to car for the summer. Other things do come into consideration though, B7 does have more setup support and parts availablity. One thing that was a black mark against my PR was the limited availability of setup support. The car itself is awesome. The Mugen does look to be becoming popular this so maybe less of an issue for it
@@RCMisfits thanks for the reply, I ran the pr cars years back when they were really popular last one being the type r evo. Cracking cars just shame they ain't as popular now. I've always liked to run something a little different. Currently running the 24 xrays but not feeling them tbh can't get comfortable with them and that's with set up available. I'm swaying more to the mugen to be a little different, it's similar looking to the tlr 2wd and that's been my favourite 2wd to date. My outdoor racing is in full swing so I need to make a decision asap.
Ah well, walls always come out in front of us. Hope you get to run it soon so we hear your thoughts as well!
I managed to get last weekend with her. I really enjoyed driving her on the kit settings for carpet. Think she's slightly ahead over the B7 in my mind ATM
@@RCMisfitshow do you think the durability of the mugen compares to the b7?
@@arhamrasool43IMO it’s not even close, the Mugen is a tank by comparison.
@chowettgoes thought you would at least wait till Sunday tip take mick outta me :D
At least you got Disco Discs right 😂 Great chat chaps and good to hear about racing experience (tiny) with the B7 & MSB1. Race on…
You broke an MSB1 arm?! I don’t think I would tell the world that on camera! 😅 PS - I agree on preferring the Mugen. You should try a Schumacher LD3 if you haven’t already!
I think I should stress at this point - Mick broke it, I managed a whole days racing last week with it and didnt snap anything :D I really want to try an LD3, I have been hearing great things about performance... but the amount I see coming off track in a coulple of pieces has put me off trying one that doesnt belong to me... I dont wanna break other peoples toys. So we may pick one up for the channel at some poiont, but the bank account iscrying atm so will have to wait a little bit.
So which do you guys prefer between the B7 and the Mugen?
I think I slightly prefer the Mugen, seems to fit my style more, at least on kit set up. Looking forward to taking her outside
And how do you guys feel having the pr now versus the mugen
It's an exact replica of tlr 5.0. Only differences is king pin acclamation. The chassis and front bulk is practically identical. Tlr already has motor mount options to put it where ever. The 11 gram electrics pate is slightly counter sunk which would be about the only upgrade for tlr. I run a 30 gram weight under my esc and having counter sinked a half a millimeter would benefit but I don't believe it's gonna make the between the TQ or the top 5
You should ream out the last spacer in the shocks as the designer explained in his video, so it’s no resistance on the shaft
I tried that... they leaked. I'm obviously not as precise with an X-acto knife as Shin is. Cost me $30 for new bushings and X-rings to stop the leakage. YMMV.
