I was in Osaka right after they opened the borders and vibrancy in the air for obvious reasons. This trip two weeks ago there was a certain soul crushing vibe to the place even with US $'s (at least a 20-30% increase in prices). Felt so sorry for the homeless old people especially because I know the average Japanese person has zero pity for them.

It says a lot about a country and its people, when even the slums look kind of decent, in a strange way
it would be better living there then where I am from in India, most unpolite country I know (you can tell me other unpolite countries)
