@@BrittsDipsit happened to mine too, I stirred mine in the pot. After a while the bubbles were gone though. Just brush slowly and pop any bubbles before curing and you should be good!

Hi! Did you watch the whole video? The first finger I did, the 5th finger, was a little closer to the cuticle than I should of, but the thumb and index were at a perfect spot for what I was trying to achieve, about half a cm from the cuticle. You could have great results with putting it up by your cuticle. I've always had issues flooding my cuticles since day 1 of doing my nails, so I try to stay away. I'm kinda messy! Lol sorry I know this isn't a clear answer at all! 🫠

acrylic powders please i dont use gels would love to see thos tutorial using acrylic powders with some chrome flakes and powders will look hot but im no good nail te ch lol still beginner

@seriouslyscrapping ohhh. I have used dip powders before, this may be an option but would be way more difficult (and Thicker!) I haven't done videos in almost 2 years (due to my current work situation, I am way too busy 😪) also, all of my powders are stored away in a huge tub container in my basement! 😫 I will make a note for the future if I am ever able to take the time I will recreate this using powders! It can be done!!!

Hi!! They lasted until I needed a fill, BUT for the last year I have been only using 'rubber base gel' , nothing else, and I haven't broken a nail, chipped polish, nothing. I do mma and I am able to keep my nails longer and healthy. I recommend looking in to the rubber base gel, it comes in clear and colors. When i do the color one, I put 2 layers of clear down first, then a few layers of color. When I do clear, I do about 4 thin layers. I have also done 2 layers of clear rubber base, a layer of GEL color, and then 2 layers of clear rubber base. I haven't broken a nail in over a year, it's insane and I highly recommend. It's stronger and tougher than gel (doesn't let your nails bend) but doesn't chip or lift like dip. Incredible. You can find some how to videos on IG for it. I love the brand moon dust dip co -clear rubber base gel. 10/10 best clear. I do not recommend madam glams rubber base, it doesn't toughen.

@@BrittsDipsinteresting. I wonder why. I’ve had allergies in the past and am very careful with the brand I use and keeping it off my skin. I definitely want to try this idea and I absolutely love the upside down lamp idea to get the curing started without having to clip the form to your finger

@taftag69 I never used the clips! Lol it kept messing up if I tried. Maybe try one and see how it goes for you, to make sure you don't have a response!

I found the MSDS for all their products at the bottom of the site. Most of their products are HEMA free with the exception of a few. I actually have an allergy and these are the only gels I've been able to use so far, so I would recommend!

@@michiematcha I am allergic to gel products as well. I tried HEMA free products and also allergic to those. This brand is advertised to have 10 less common allergy causing chemicals... I hope it ends up working for me coz they ain't cheap.

@@Insight.Served yes! So tough to narrow it down! And because it takes foreverrrr to get a dermatologist allergy test (atleast in Canada it does) I also have been trial and error testing brands/products. I hope it works for you!!!

@@Insight.Served I know this is a lot of work but I recommend making a google doc of all the ingredients in each product (colour coding them) and writing down which ones gave you a reaction. Then cross referencing those products to narrow down the overlaying ingredients (that’s what I did) that’s how I found out I was also allergic to photoinitiators and Cellulose Acetate Butyrate! I noticed they repeated in the products that gave me bad reactions

Hi yes after activating that would work, it works best on matte surface. Then just top coat, no clear dip needed over the ink 😁

Hi! Yes I still like all of these products. Bioseaweed Gel is discontinuing their dip powders, last I looked, this big ones were 3$, so I snagged a few more. I still love igel beauty's dip Liquids. No issues ever with them. The tool is called a precision tool ritzydips.com/collections/files-and-accessories/products/precision-tool-wax-tip highly recommend. The alcohol inks, these are from Amazon and are on the cheaper side. I bought a higher quality kit from Dyme Nails and they are my go to now, they work way nicer. But as always with alcohol inks, it matters what matte coat you are using, and some work better with alcohol v acetone. I have a few alcohol ink videos I made with the dyme products, as well as another Canadian brand I can't think of right now, but I recommend Dyme for the highest quality. They are way more pigmented than any other brand.

@@ImSoB0mb1 yes the powders are just kike all regular dip powders, I've used them with atheist 10 brand dip Liquids, and gel Liquids as well. No issues. I do not like bio sea weed gels dip Liquids tho, I wouldn't recommend them. But the powders are great!

I think it might be just preference. These can last longer because you can 'fill' them. Whereas the tips just grow out and need to be changed. I prefer this method because I have flatter nail beds, and tips sometimes gap up on me and don't entirely stick. This conforms to your nail shape. Help this helps!!!

It's been awhile since I've done my nails 🫣🫣 but my brain remembers the dry time as comparable, moderate to faster dry time for base and dry time for top coat 1-2 min.

idk if it's the form I'm using but when I file the form the edge is sooo raggedy with the way the plastic fuzzes up, it's completely fuzzy on the sides and no amount of filing can make it smooth. I have the ModelOnes plastic forms. please help!

Hi Friend! I am so sorry on my delay of seeing your message!!! You may have a lamp that has a lower intensity, which would require more time curing. My is a 48 w LED/UV lamp. Those specs should work for you! You don't have to purchase a super expensive one, but make sure it's both LED and UV and at least 48 watts

@mars this made my month!!!! Thank-you! And nope I just dip the brush right in. No solution needed. Polygel has a solution to use because it is Thicker and doesn't smooth. Builder gel is more liquidy and doesn't need anything on the brush to help! I hope this answered and made sense!! Thank you for watching!!!!
