They were 1 mm rivets by hobby design

Very well and professionally built. But I don't understand... You stuck the Senna lettering and flag as well as the "Boss" sticker on the roll bar at an wrong angle... 🤔🤨

I think I used archive x paint they specialise in Star Wars colours

Nice paint job on that Huey! I see you did preshading in black. What else did you do to get that finish? What's up with the rock salt on the bottom, is it just for weathering?
I post shaded with lighter colours of the base colours then weathered with oils
@@Roosterfox Looks amazing! Did you varnish before weathering and how did you use the rock salt?
@@zazen69 no just Matt coat and then I sprayed water on the model added rock salt let it dry and painted over the top then remove with water there’s a lot of demos on you tube on this technique

Those seat belt buckles are truly impressive. If you built the crew-served miniguns, did you do anything to improve the way they're connected to the frame? The two little prongs don't seem to plug in very well to the frame. It's almost like they're missing a piece.
I only built the miniguns that are shown in the video it doesn’t surprise me your having issues the kit was not great the seat belts buckles are 1/20 car buckles I did fabricate the rear ones

I mix the paint colours from various tamiya paints can’t remember which ones as it was a long time ago sorry I can’t be more help

No the kit was poor I had to 3D print a lot of interior parts and had to scratch build a lot exterior detail as well
@@Roosterfox I understand it's the mold of a toy (Bbi/Merit) maybe that's the reason for suboptimal detail.

HMS Invincible visited NZ in 1983 there was a local airshow and the SHAR did a bow!.. a mate of mine was Tactical Radar Operator on HMS Invincible during the Falklands War he was impressed with the SHAR and he said he didn't know if he was going to live or die!.. thanks from down under! 👍🇳🇿
