Oh Hell No...This Is Definitely NOT The Best Clapton Solo On "I Shot The Sheriff"...His Solo In 2004 At The Crossroads Festival Has This One WAY Beat. That 2004 Solo Of Clapton Is One Of My Top Two Favorite Live Guitar Solos Ever. Clapton Got DEEP "In The Zone" During That 2004 Solo...It Was Flowing Through Him Like A Conduit...From Somewhere...On Any Other Night, Some Of That Stuff Would Be Risky To Attempt...But During That Solo In 2004, He Wasn't Attempting Anything...His Eyes Were Closed And It Was Just Flowing Through Him...And Played Perfectly...He Could Do No Wrong. It Was Obvious That The Other Musicians...His Drummer, Bass Player Nathan East...Were Well Aware Also That He Was Somewhere In That Zone. Yeah...That Solo Has This One Way, Way Beat.
