Grappling is just dangerous in general cause you don't know what the other guy can pull out of his pocket with his hands. You made your first mistake underestimating someone. Look I wasn’t a MMA fighter but I was 5’8” and 175 I bench 325 to 345 I can’t remember for sure 545 to 565 squats and was fast. When I hit someone they went down. I never fought anyone smaller than me and I only lost one fight. All I know if you get kicked in the head you going down and Bruce had speed and power. He could had been the worst fighter but he could had been great. I was tough but I know dudes who was tougher. These MMA guys are tough but it’s the MAN or WOMAN who wins the battle.

Sure Bruce got into some street fights as a teenager, but he's not the greatest fighter just one of the greatest martial artists of all time. His flashy stuff in the movies don't work well in a real fight and he understood that. His philosophy of the arts was revolutionary at the time and it's because of his influence that martial arts and professional fighting have evolved.
