2nd October 2024, in celebration of Gandhi Jayanti, we organized a Plastic-Free Day with LBC members, SoCCs members, and enthusiastic youth volunteers. Together, we cleaned Saikul Bazar and the surrounding roadsides, chanting slogans like “Plastic-Free Planet, Pure Future.” The event saw the participation of over 100 youths and children, making it a truly impactful day. 🌍✨

Through the organic gardening training provided by InSIDE Northeast in collaboration with Thrive India, Ms. Lalam, an internally displaced person (IDP) from Geljang village, residing at Saikho relief camp, successfully cultivated a variety of vegetables. This achievement has significantly supported her family by providing them with fresh, home-grown produce.🌱
