I agree with you about the Tony Hawk games, the first three are the best. But I quite like the Skate games, if you haven't played them they are very good. I had enough of AC after a while, I played a few hours of Black Flag and it was just okay, the boat sections were quite fun.

Yes I'm pretty sure that is the PAL EUR version of the game, I bought it second hand in Germany. I think the US version has a different label? I prefer this one tho :)

After I got my Mega Drive modded for 60hz NTSC signal and updated my cables to RGB (and I now have a Sony PVM to run it on), the Mega Drive became one of my favourite consoles. The image benefits immensely from those updates. Yeah, Road Rash is a good one. Mega Bomberman is one of my favourites :)

I hardly ever play Zapper-games so I haven't tried any on this TV, that said, I'm 99% sure zapper games should work on this TV and any old tube-TV, really! You can find these B&O TVs for free sometimes if you're lucky, definitely worth getting one.

Absolutely. I got a cheapo 14 inch fat-TV just a few months ago and the zapper works with mixed results, usually having to stand really close to the tv-set and that takes away a lot of the fun and challenge. Wondering if the B&O with the glass screen in front of the actual TV screen will scramble the zapper signal even further. Either way it's a good upgrade getting one!

Unfortunately it's no where near complete. I haven't focused so much on SMS collecting in the last years but I would like to get back into it. I now have 89 games. I'm not sure if I will go for 100% complete any time soon, but there are many titles I would like to get a hold of!

Nice! I have 101 games atm (plus some JP games), so I did't add that many since 2012, but I'm spreading my focus on many different collections at once, I have a bit of everything. I love the Gamboy, but it doesn't get enough playtime. I'm generally not playing so much handheld anymore. Kid Dracula is great! Played through it a few months ago. I have it for the Famicom. :)

That's cool! I only play them on my super Game Boy on the Snes (much better than the small screen)! I collect also for the Snes, N64, Sega master System, Mega Drive, Mega CD, Dreamcast and PS1 + i don't collect for PS2, Xbox, 360 and Ps3 but have 244 games for those systems. Saving the serious Snes collecting for last as it will be the most expensive!!! Also need Trip World and Beethoven for the Game Boy (carts only), then i will probably stop collecting for it. Yes the Super Game Boy is great, I also have the Gameboy player for the Gamecube for my GBAs. I collect for all the popular systems. But recently I sold off my Jaguar, Mega-CD and Game Gear collections, as I didn't enjoy those libraries so much. My fav is the NES and I love the Gamecube. I probably play the 360 the most tho. Happy collecting :)

+Ricky Zenna I use the standard Nintendo Scart cable which is the same one for the Gamecube.

+R. J. Koerte I don't know the names of the shops, I just walked around a few of the blocks in the area of Super Potato, and these shops have the games placed so you see them from the street. Small shops with some different electronics for sale.

Hey Tom! Glad to see you're back on RUclips. I quite enjoy FF13 so far, and I'm about 8 hrs into it. Lost Odyssey was a bit tedious, but maybe I should give it some more time, a lot of people say it's one of the best RPGs on the Xbox.

70 euros is around 90 dollars, but games are generally a lot more expensive in Scandinavia, especially compared to the US. That bundle would easily be worth around 300 dollars if I would resell it (but I want to keep most of it:).

Nice. I have Battletoads on Mega Drive and SNES and love both. Rival Turf is similar to Final Fight and I think its awesome, so I'd recommend it.

Det er absolutt kjekt å ha en Universal Adapter. Mye bra US-Snes spill som aldri ble gitt ut her. Det er også mange spill som er veldig dyre i europa, hvor NTSC versjonene er betydelig billigere. Jeg kjøpte f.eks. Megaman X3 i japansk utgave til 150kr, den koster godt over 2000kr i europa.

Cool, I look forward to trying it out some more, seemed like a good game. Although I thought the controls seemed a bit stiff, but maybe that was just not being able to walk and attack diagonally like in Zelda. :)

The controls are a bit poor. The collision detection is slightly off, too. Still, highly enjoyable game

Hehe, det var vanskelig å begrense game huntingen. Vi var flere som var der, men jeg satte av et par dager til å gå rundt alene. :) Det var helt utrolig kult, men vanskelig å plukke ut spill og det ble litt hit or miss. Plukket med meg veldig mye, til kofferten var stappet, og solgte til slutt det jeg ikke likte etter å ha testet det ut vel hjemme.

Hehe, ingen som ble med deg? Hadde du en guide til hvor du skulle gå? Jeg prøver å finne ut hvilke butikker/plasser jeg må sjekke for Nintendo-ting (som sikkert alle andre).

Joda, folk ble med til Nakano Broadway o.l. Men selve spillbrowsingen fikk jeg gjøre alene, da jeg ikke hadde noen med spillinteresse med meg. ;) Og jeg ville ta meg god tid, og ikke bli stresset av at noen vil videre. Gjorde litt research i forkant, det er hovedsakelig to hovedområder hvor man finner alt av spill, Akihabara og Nakano broadway, ellers er det litt småbutikker rundt omkring. De store og kjente butikkene er litt dyre, så det lønner seg å besøke de små.

Du har sikkert allerede begynt å planlegge neste tur, hehe. Kan du japansk eller bare virker det slik av videoene dine? Ser litt på Tokyo pickups-videoene.

Nei jeg kan ikke et ord japansk, bare fant ut hva de forskjellige spillene het, hehe. Har ingen konkrete planer om en ny tur foreløpig, men en vakker dag!

I read that Blue Dragon is from the same people who made Lost Odyssey. Does it play quite differently? I've heard of the Willow game, but never tried it. Maybe I should get it on my Wii emulator. Thanks for the tip. :)

I'll tell you if I come across another copy. :) I actually don't have so many stores in Berlin that I would really recommend, many of them are quite expensive. There is one in Kreuzberg close to Gräfestr 90. It's pricey! There is Spiele-Treff in Hermannstr 180, I like that one, the man working there is very friendly as well. The one where I picked up these Sega games is in Torstr. Somewhere around house number 60-80, I don't know exactly.

Cool, I really like Uncharted-style gameplay, so I will definitely try out Enslaved very soon. I had a look at Prototype online, and it looked pretty dark, as in the main goal being killing random civilians. The first game I've started with on this bundle is Gears of War, which is quite fun, but very thin on story, and it's a bit too cheesy for my taste (all the characters look like steroid bodybuilders and sound like Duke Nukem). It had good reviews all over the board though, so I will give it a good chance.

Oh man, what a shame that you threw it out. I think the Famicom looks amazing, I really like the colour and design of the console. A big downside though is the short controller cables!

Thanks for the info, I didn't know that. I did react on the horror-theme of Decap Attack being quite far away from Psycho Fox, I actually wish they would keep the characters from Psycho fox with the different animals to choose from as playable characters.

CousinKinoko I think that the Brazilian Master System had a Psycho Fox spin off or pseudo sequel featuring the frog as the lead character. In the US, the NTSC NES had a game called Kid Kool which was Psycho Fox's NES equal.

Takk takk. :) Wonderboy er en serie som jeg må komme litt mer inn i, jeg har flere av spillene i serien, men har ikke funnet tiden til å sette meg inn i de enda. Bortsett fra den første, som er en ganske basic plattformer, de senere spillene går jo mye mer i retning rpg. Rpg er en av mine favorittsjangere, men det tar alltid så lang til å spille seg igjennom ett spill! Akkurat nå holder jeg på med Paper Mario for Gamecube.

I prefer the PAL cases when it comes to Dreamcast and Saturn, but on the other hand there were always more games released in NTSC regions than in PAL, and we missed out on a lot of stuff in the 90s here in Europe!

CousinKinoko We missed a lot too. English speaking countries are a pain, especially for RPG fans. Panzer Dragoon Saga was one of the most epic travesties of gaming history. :(

I always wanted to try Panzer Dragoon Saga, but it's just too expensive to get a hold of, unfortunately. When I went to Tokyo, RPGs seemed to be the biggest genre, and not FPS games like here. And some retro RPGs that you would have to shell out a big buck for in English speaking countries, was dirt cheap over there. Only problem is the language barrier. :)

You should buy the Japanese version of Saga. You can follow the story on RUclips and everything else is very easy to figure out. Or you could emulate it. ;)

Yes maybe I should, or emulation is also a good option, as I'm probably never going to find an english language version of the actual game.

If a get another copy, maybe I'll do a giveaway, but I want to hold on to it for now. :)
