I used a napa turn signal flasher part # NF EL 12L1 that flasher works very well with LED turn signals. one terminal hooks to power. the other terminal goes to both turn signal switches and the wire goes to ground. If you aren't using led lights, you can use any normal 2 terminal flasher canister from any autoparts store. one of my coworkers doesn't even use a flasher, just lets the lights stay steady on.

any autoparts store will have the switches and flasher. you may need to go to a truck supply store for the wires and connector.

I started at 32 a hour with fedex express at a airport now I’m at 49 cap out pay with a small % increase once a year.

I no longer have that set up. For the solenoids, I would recommend a ordering a whole wiring kit off eBay, stork plow, or mills supply. For the head lights we didn't have the truck long enough to hook up normal plow lights. Well we had it we just ran fog lights to a toggle switch going to battery hot. There are special relay boxes you need for the lights to be controlled off the trucks regulars lighting system. if i remember right their is an issue of burning the harness without the relay system in those trucks

Basically there is no difference, We are a mechanic and we fix aircraft ground equipment. I spent 15 years including an apprenticeship working for an airline as a GSE mechanic and fitter.

Hey, Sorry for the late response. Our prototype was plywood, out final design was two lexan strips, with 1 inch spacers hooked up to like a window regulator motor (Im not sure which exactly other-than it was a common motor when I was in robotics) then we used a spike relay for the motor. as far as a shooter went we would much rather recommend bottom feeding the wheel over side feeding.

I never was big into video gaming but this was one of like four games I played a lot.

thank you, it was a hard fight and we ranked 33rd out of the 60 teams which is better than last year where we ranked second from the bottom.

you're welcome. it is worth doing in high school because it is very good for learning hands on stuff.

we started with four lexan plates 2 were fixed, the other two pivoted in the same arc of the shooter fly wheel, to adjust height, as the little tested we had showed we had to change. we changed the two lower ones to 1/8" thick aluminium. and as further testing accord with out true practice we just deleted the upper which were supposed to adjust our shot.

well for us the challenge was we were thinking some over complicated belts and rollers and mini shooters but one group zip tied a pool noodle to a 1/2 metal rod and attached it to a drill and it worked and with proper compression we could pick up a ball load it in the hopper and it couldn't get out then on our real robot we found out the wall for the squid puss (spiny thing in hopper) so we used surgical tubing that it pushes up into for the full height

we know what we want to do but how we do it is not decided. we will take our programing robot and ether 1. turn it upside down and build our structure on top of that. or 2. take the programing robot, move motors and gearboxes to the outside, change the front plate and build on that

yeah we lost a lot of time figuring out the gear boxes so in that time wheels got tossed around because of trying to figure out set up

maybe if we win buckeye regional or we both win regionals and continue working our way up

we were trying to come up with more original ideas, but we have kicked climbing off to the side because not till friday night did we have a frame together fro compition.

yeah, i don't know being we have spent 4 weeks working on custom gearboxes that hold the frame together

yes we gotten most of the jamming to stop. As we start building the real bot most of the jamming issues will go away because a lot of it was due to quickly designed parts
