Hi Karan, thank you for bringing this side of oxy to my attention, I haven't really looked into it before. From some quick googling, I've seen that the DAC tech currently has a several hundered dollar cost to remove a ton of carbon, but the corresponding carbon credits sell for an order of magitude less than that with the exact numbers varying wildly from source to source. Have they put out any future projections/numbers of how they can turn this into a viable business? Is it all from subsidies? Would love to hear your thoughts

I lost little bit on para should have learnt my lesson from Manchester united takeover definitely good advice look more at background of main shareholder

Thinking of taking some profit in MPW and buying Oxy. But MPC looks like a better buy where they make money irrespective of oil price.

I don't feel terrible about my PARA losses cause even Buffett fell for it. I'm still holding it and will try to sell as much as I can at the 15$ merge price and will let the rest ride. Tencent invested in SkyDance at 4b valuation in Oct 2022 so I don't think it's that bad since we are valuing SkyDance and distributing shares at 15$ value

I feel people are often mislead what the CFA designation has to offer. CFA is measures your commitment to finance 2-3 yrs minimum investment. And the skills development is something else altogether both are needed to secure a good job. Rather investing by yourself + professionals guidance form seasoned players by working with them. CFA give you that opportunity

From a young age, I’ve been a hosteller, which allowed me to develop various skills. I excelled in sports and communication, and took on leadership roles throughout my school years-starting as a sub-junior house captain in 5th grade, Vice cap in 9th grade and eventually serving as head boy from 10th to 12th grade. Despite my early inclination towards maths and a passion for it, I was steered into a medical profession by my family due to our middle-class background. I dedicated myself to the medical field, but after spending additional two gap years preparing for NEET and achieving a score of 610, I realized that my heart was not in it. The NEET scam further discouraged me. I ran away from home and for the past nine months, I have been living independently, supporting myself through freelance guitar and singing work. Also, working as a liaison with several musicians and photographers. While I cherish these skills, I prefer not to commercialize them. I now have the opportunity to pursue a course in finance and management, a field I am genuinely passionate about. Alongside this, I plan to prepare for the CFA qualification. Recently, I cracked the IPMAT exam for IIM Indore with minimal preparation, and my interview went well, though I am currently in the consideration pool. Given my circumstances and aspirations, I am seeking guidance from experienced professionals in this field to help me achieve my goals. Your insights and advice would be incredibly valuable to me. I would be immensely grateful for any assistance you can provide, and I am committed to repaying the favor in any way I can.

hello, this is my first time commenting on one of your videos. your strategy is to bet on turnarounds, but this is agonizing! as most of your stock picks are value traps i think. turnarounds rarely work, like one in 20, and only insiders make money on turnarounds, trust me. turnarounds needs to be a small part of your overall portfolio, i hope you are being prudent here, otherwise you will loose everything. two ways to address this portfolio: either buy 20 turnarounds and expect 1 or 2 to be successful, like PE firms do. or limit your turnaround strategy to max 20% of your portfolio value, and the 80% need to be invested in companies with some moats.. sorry i feel bad you lost 30% in 3 years where the market is up like 30%
