I own a 2024 Road Glide 3. I had a 2008 Ultra Classic and I should have kept this bike. Do your homework before you buy this Gold Digging, trophy wife, three wheeled Frankenstein. There are so many thing I hate about this monstrosity. The infotainment system (Boombox GTS) sucks, and that statement is very generous. The ride on this thing, Sucks, no matter how you adjust it. You would be forgiven, if you thought you were riding a wooden wagon, when you hit a bump or small pothole. You cannot use Apple Car Play unless your mechanically inclined or willing to pay Harley Davidson's outrageous labor charges. If you want to use a helmet headset, really do you homework this option will be real expensive - Close to $1000.00 bucks. There is no WHIM module in this 3 wheeled garbage can and you cannot use a headset without a WHIM module. There is so much more but in closing, I reiterate: Do your homework ask yourself what you want out of this trike. I have the front end and rims on the tri-glide but I probably should have gone that route. Finally F-ing Harley Davidson puts a 114 engine on a 1200 lbs trike. On a regular Road Glide you can have a 117 engine that has more horse power and more torque. Harley puts this on a 2 wheel motorcycle that weighs 400 lbs less than the Road Glide 3. Again there is a lot more about this thing that I despise, but unless you have owned one your probably not going to know what to ask.

Before all you micro-unit Karens start whining about it being a travesty for the Ninja 7 name, go look up the DKW 3=6. Personally, I can’t wait for this tech to come to faster machines, much like it has to the super car world. Kudos to Kawi for stepping up their tech to where it should be.

As a young man I had a Honda Cub which was useless, constantly breaking down with serious engine problems. Later I had a Lambretta Li150, which was a lot better, but susceptible to damp if you drove through a puddle, soaking the contact breakers. It was also only a 6 volt system, so at night with the headlight on the indicators would not flash. In 1984 I bought a new Vespa PX125e, much better, with a magneto ignition and a 12 volt system, plus alternator, and no battery needed. With Autolube there were no mixing problems for 2 stroke as it was automatically done. I carry a spare wheel, which can be put on in 10 minutes. The modern machines are 4 stroke, so prone to sudden seizure (like the Honda), and changing the back wheel involves removing the exhaust. There is a timing belt and a belt and rollers for the automatic transmission, plus valves to adjust, making for complicated and expensive maintenance. The old Vespa PX125e Two Stroke has none of these problems. I still have my machine, which was refurbished 3 years ago (repainted, new brakes, tyres, shock absorbers, cables, gear selector and clutch plate. ) The mechanic told me the engine is fine, after nearly 40000 miles. If you have a Japanese bike you will be lucky to get 15000 miles form the engine. With my Vespa, I can get spare parts immediately, unlike Japanese makes, where parts are often scarce, particularly for older machines. Yes, the PX125e has questionable handling, awkward gearchange, and fairly mediocre brakes, but is 100% reliable.

Just try to get a car insurance policy for this Bike, you need a full A license if you want to use comparison websites for quotes as their system doesnt recognise the name of the Bike and cant find it in their data base, I tried Go Compare and Compare The Market on 1st of February 2025 and neither of them know what this bike is on their car nsurance data base. So I cant use my lengthy NCB on my Car Insurance to guarentee a low insurance price, go get your A Bike license and forget playing with limited insurance company access who are going to rip you off anyway. with an A license and No history of riding a bike insurance Third party fire and theft is around £170 a year and fully comp £350 a year with a bike license. God knows what it would be with a full car license because I cant get an online quote for a car licensed trike. Unless its a recognised Trike like a Robin Reliant 850 Car.

I can't express my total disappointment in Honda for not offering a 2 stroke. I would drop what I'm doing and but a Honda 2 stroke over any other bike. When I see this 450 rx bike, I think of how cool it looks and want to buy it but am disappointed in it because it's not a 2 S, so I don't buy it.
