Weird that the legal ID wasn't automated as well, every time I've tried capturing KRIS-DT2, you also see a "KRIS 6.2 Corpus Christi" in the bottom right corner

They really need to update this, there's a good chance this paid program disclaimer was originally on VHS if you need to know how old this is (Outside of the CW South Texas logo)

I watched this telecast when I was going to Texas Southern in the 90s.

In fact it's just an anti-piracy warning telling viewers not to record copyrighted broadcast signals on VHS without securing permission from Rupert Murdoch's network. That's what the plug says, and also other networks too like CBS. Some television stations in the US have been recently encrypting its broadcast signals by various means - broadcast flag, HDCP, Macrovision, copy-never encryption, ATSC 3.0 DRM, and much more.

Wow, they the whole TV station ID wrong: First: Houston is spelled wrong it's not supposed to be spelled "Houstin" Second: The number is also wrong KVVV-LD is on channel 15! Not 14. Third: The callsign used in the ident is just "KVVV" instead of KVVV-LD even though some low powered stations don't necessarily used the "LD" suffix with their branding.
