Accuracy Automation from D.R. Joseph: Automatic Layflat Calibration
Automatic Layflat Calibration is a sub-feature for DRJ IBC and nonIBC control systems that reduces scrap or out of spec. rolls with accuracy automation. Final web width is automatically calibrated to the control system, accounting for dynamic changes such as shrink or stretch, while taking the task of calibration off of the operator, reducing training, and improving long term width accuracy.
