I remember big engined Vincents and Aerials (and “Squarials” ) being for sale in the late 60’s (Exchange & Mart) for relatively very low amounts of money. I always wanted to work weekends to try to get one, but my dad wouldn’t let me as I was only 14. I still rode a mates Francis Barnet when I could though, although none of us had a licence.

Truly one of history's most over-rated motorcycles. Truly.

I passed my motorcycle license in 1968 in France. At that time there was no motorcycle school and we had to come and introduce ourselves with our motorcycle, so we came with our motorcycle without a license. The inspector told us to leave and go around a block and watched us start, so I stuck out my right arm to turn and then the inspector didn't see me again until we got back. I passed it with my BSA 350cc. There was another guy who came with a 1,000 Vincent but the poor guy never managed to start his motorcycle so no license. 🤢It was the first time I had seen a 1,000 Vincent and it didn't leave a good impression on me but it was a magnificent engine and it was the biggest at that time.

As an American. Y'all did the v twin better. Sounds amazing. Not a lazy 50 hp lump of Chinese cast iron that revs begrudgingly .

Hi, I have a custom K100 2V and I was wondering if it would be possible to use your kit together with the 2v throttle bodies by adapting the TPS to them. I guess the power gain is mostly because of the leaner mixture and not only because of the larger 4V throttle bodies (although that has a similar outcome)? Theoretically you’d have better torque at low ends with the standard tb‘s because of the faster flowing air at the smaller diameter… Cheers, Richard
