Exploring the Canary Islands of Tenerife was part of my MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation & Management degree at the University of Oxford! 🌳 🎓
This field trip was organised to learn about Tenerife’s unique biodiversity and the multi-layer governance of the island's protected area system!
I learned much about Tenerife with 31 incredible students, representing 16 countries who made up the BCM 2022 cohort!

For my second trip to Morocco, I went on a mission to reach the roof of the country. There is no higher point in the Atlas Mountains, North Africa or the Arab-speaking world than Mount Toubkal (4167m). Hi , what boots did you wear lighter trekking or more sturdy mountaineering? TIA
Hi, I wore light trekking boots - I hiked in May and the weather was great. If you climb in the winter you'll need mountaineering boots and crampons (might be provided by tour company). Hope this helps - NN
