I know that it's important to AVIATE/NAVIGATE and COMMUNICATE but, it would be helpful if these pilots could give some kind of information re the problems they're having...helpful for the NTSB investigation.

if you have this kind of malfunction, turn off all the electrics (master and avionics master to off) to try to vary off the problem. they dont teach this, but it is the way.

Inventech just replaced v2 with ASM Stirri was Amtech USA and they renamed themselfs to not be addiliated with Inventech and the chinese ripoff too ASM is a pretty good flux and does not berform worse than OG V2 and it is UV reactive whichbis noce for cleaning. V3 is a new formula and REACH compliant which is less toxic and UV reactive. What Inventech did is of course in excusable and I will also part ways ASAP. In EU it is not as easily avail, especially when you are not a business... And Stirrinonly ships from US which makes shipping and custom a no go.

I have this desoldering station and it honestly kinda sucks for profesional high thermal boards, it constantly clogs and the solder will stick to the glass tube and its a pain to clean, got the Hakko FR400 and never looked back, not to mention the JBC lowkey lacks suction power

Have you analyzed the circuity at all? It looks like it is just a bunch of (high current open drain) shift registers (8x8 I/O each side) combined with a comparator and some resistors. So I'm guessing it applies different voltage levels to each pin in sequence (0V, and 5V via pull-up) and then checks the status of all other pins. Not sure from the photos how it is doing the multiplexed read back of the pins/comparator outputs.

with acetone does that just eat the fake lettering ? I've never actually seen one tested them that way , also wish the orange 5 programmer was a thing before I bought the chip programmer for my 87 suburban.. I'm planning now, on converting it to electric (if my body holds out long enough)

I’d rather see this than the real thing at this point, I wish legacy bands would pass the torch and rebuild the band with younger counterparts who can fill the shoes. It’s definitely possible to especially with the budget
