Parking Signs Outside WTOP
Просмотров 1,7 тыс.9 лет назад
New parking signs outside WTOP Radio are now up. But those signs are both confusing and incorrect. DDOT Director Leif Dormsjo says a contractor put them up and he agrees they are confusing and wrong and will be replaced.
I really enjoyed the new blue yeti microphone and I like it.
I really enjoyed the new blue yeti microphone and I like singing Vocals Only.
Common sense dictates that being legal i hate maryland. Obviously the cars in front have a green left arrow and there's no pedestrians screw the people who run maryland greedy losers
Thanks, I am new in USA. These kind of videos really help me to understand the traffic signs.
How do you talk to the mic without using headphone
Does the arrow to the right mean the parking is allowed on the right for the given time? If so why are all vehicles on the left?
Outstanding explanation....easy to understand even if you have ADhD!
You saved me thank you so so much!!
Thank you for such a clear and helpful explanation. I am very grateful.
The red sign over ride all sign. That what sign u go by RED !!🤔
Thanks for your great video. It's really helpful.
my god. I was struggling with this blue yeti until I watched this video. thank you
Oh thanks Finally someone who makes a useful video with the blue yeti 👍🏼
When following traffic rules, whenever you see a POSITIVE and a NEGATIVE sign always follow the NEGATIVE sign. this is because REGULATORY signs do not tell you what you can do. they usually tell you what you CANT DO.
You'd think the regulators would be intelligent enough to make that distinction clearer through the use of non-conflicting signs. I'd hate to accuse them of purposeful deception in service of grifting the public so the explanation must involve severe mental handicaps affecting everyone involved in making these boneheaded decisions. Perhaps they need to be involuntarily committed to mental hospitals to receive professional care. Alternatively, a refresher course on basic English grammar skills might be sufficient for those who only experience a relatively mild amount of brain dysfunction compared to their drooling civil service comrades who live in near-vegetative states.
@@icemachine79 i think if you really push it, you can win in court. its unfair to have confusing traffic signs intentional or not.
@@SIDEKICKONRUclips I know... or, at least, I hope that would be the case. I was just being snarky because whoever made this decision is unlikely to admit fault, nevermind face repercussions for it.
No females
Congrats UMBC on making history. Right up there with the "Miracle on Ice". No matter what happens from now on, you'll always be "the first". Thank you for doing it in my lifetime so I can say that I watched history being made.
That should be perfectly legal knowing if those cars are turning because of a green turn signal
I don't understand the point of posting this - that is a clear violation - the BACK of the car is about 5 feet past the stop bar which is to say the car is about 15 feet past where it should have stopped. You see that crosswalk - that is where pedestrians are supposed to be able to cross the street.
great instructional video, thanks!
no! stop it! its just a bad mic!!
this why I am terrified to park in DC... I'm scared to park the Zipcar in DC even though I get free parking, I'll stay in Maryland
I plug my yeti it killed the sound I mean no sound from the speaker...yeti is for xp 7 and 8 I have windows 10 is yeti compatible with win10 how does it work
Excellent!! I'm am bothered about these pop problems when I record audio book CDs and videos for RUclips. Voice-over editing is tedious and repeated re-reading becomes redundant causing subconscious ad-lib deviation from the script ~ Thank you for your valuable tutorial ~ I'm merging into relief !!
One of these just went down my dead end street.
Thank you so much!
Yes they will. In fact, I have a compilation including one in service on the Silver Line.
sooo helpful
Thanks for this. REALLY helped.
this was really helpful! thanks
great video! Thank you:)
You're a danger to the public, pay!!!
Or just get a cheap pop filter?
the pattern knob on my blue yeti wont turn.... is there anything i have to do to change it??
It's just really hard to turn, but it does. Firmly grasp it!
he says he's an inch way but he's like 6 inches away
I was speaking into the back of the microphone this entire time. D:
this is bull shit.. We already pay enough in gas taxes. I travel in many countries. and for the US to have this disgraceful taxing is ridiculous..
Thanks for the tips! I'm a co-host on a podcast and our host and I use Blue Yetis, but he sounds much better than I do. Come to find out I have the gain cranked up too high and I think that's causing a lot of my issues.
Well now I sound better. I was speaking into the wrong side of the mic!
Same! Can't believe I recorded so many podcasts & videos backwards. Lesson learned.
me too, for 2 years.
Apoc 😂🤣
when i record with yeti and web cam it sounds wiry. why is this?
Drivers like this are why I have been hit, or nearly hit many times. I agree with tripjet999, this is why we need traffic cameras, mainly video cameras.
why do you speak as if it's 2yr olds would be watching your video, "this is a cord, i've plugged it into my computer, the other end goes here in this hole in the mic"! da fuk dude!
You are wrong about how the mic works. It works in a variety of directions, including ALL sides. You need to use the rear dial to change this. Surprised you incorrectly explain this. Also surprised you don't explain what the dial settings mean.
I was really hoping he'd explain the dial setting since I just got one today. I just kinda had to mess around with it until I actually figured it out.
Thanks this video is exactly what I needed! Very clear explanation, and very logical progression that helps complete idiots like me get it quick. Kudos!
Is that DC?
Precisely why we NEED the red-light cameras! KEEP THEM IN PLACE AND ADD MORE!
I enjoy paying tolls on a roadway that hasn't changed (for me), and that I used to ride for free. I just don't understand how you take a roadway that was already there and paid for, add some miles to the end of it, and then decide to toll the whole thing.
Here's how I do it; Get a radius shock mount Get a pop filter Get Audacity Alter the gain (depending on how your Yeti works) Place a few inches from mouth Editing audio: Normalise Bass boost Treble boost Compress Normalise Put into Premiere Pro: Use compressor dynamics unit everything's ironed out and sounds nice
Darbus is that config the one u use for your welcome vid? sounds pretty good, maybe a little less bass, but sounds great anyways!
Yes.. Well, some parts.. :P I use default settings on audacity, so that might be what causes the bass :P
Mine works fine.. I haven't changed the washers inside the Radius, and the mic arm seems very sturdy with both Yeti and Radius.. Even with a pop filter, it's still fine.. Just depends on the mic arm your using
Premiere Pro is a video editing program, and dynamics is an audio effect that you put onto audio clips. It contains effects like expanding, limiting, and compressing. Compressing just limits high volumes to a set amount of decibel. There's a lot of information about it, if you want to learn more.
+Darbus Video Editing? How about Sony Vegas Pro 13?
wait whats the two most important things? i didn't catch that...
