Yeah, this guy has issues. Much of what he said were blatant lies. Cars overturned, major damage, trees uprooted, blocked by powerlines. The tornado, if that was what it was, was an EF 0, if that !! He is definitely not cut out for this type of work. Trained spotter ha !

Ended up being a EF2 rated at 135 mph, 1 away from ef3.

Radar omega was the radar software in question. I stopped to check on other motorists who were stopped and potentially injured. The tornado had past by the time traffic had to maneuver around me.

Blue is not a "Very High" risk frankly because it doesn't need to be, The life safety risk at a High (5/5 - Pink) Risk is already so great that there isn't a need to have an additional risk category. Similar to how the NWS does not have an EF-6 Tornado or a Category 6 Hurricane... because there is no need. When we have storms that intense there isn't necessarily a discernable difference in risk.

I know what you’re saying. The risks go from Marginal to High. TV meteorologists do sometimes have their own system, if they don’t do their own forecast altogether. Most are trying to follow the NWS to prevent confusion. But I know what you’re saying there is another color scheme. That’s Green is a 2 percent chance. Brown is a 5 percent chance. It goes up to 60 percent (that’s VERY rare) that is blue in color.
