The inks don’t need shaking, btw. They’re dye based so there isn’t any sediment and they aren’t shimmer inks. Shaking inks, even if they’re pigment based or shimmer ink, only creates bubbles that make inking your pen difficult. If there’s a reason to mix the inks, they should be rolled gently to agitate any sediment or shimmer.

I have a five-year Hobonichi too and don’t really journal every day on it. I’m on my second year but still enjoy days when I journal and get surprised when I write similar things on the same days - I know it’s only one month in but still. That book journal is great to keep! 🎉

That book from 1886 must have gone through many libraries. I wonder what kind of advice one would give on how to build a library over 130 years ago. I didn't think Also, that little bit by Hannah Arendt is fantastic! One of the greatest political philosophers of her time. Thanks for sharing! =)
I can't imagine how difficult and expensive it would've been to build up a library in 1886. It also makes you wonder what books were around then that didn't survive through the years
