@jackhughes4896 They do, and I’ve started up plenty of cars that chime straight away. However a common theme ive found that it will chime if you actually start driving without a seatbelt, or with the door open.

@@theaussiecardude the lifters take a while to build up oil pressure leading to wear on the lifters and the cam eventually wrecking both

@@theaussiecardude do you hears the ticking it will go away if you ran it for awhile but if you let it sit for awhile (a couple of hours) and start it again the tick will be back (the tick is dry lifters on the cam) over time it will coarse wear and the only fix is to replace the lifters and cam or if really bad the motor this only on a car with hydraulic lifters which this has,solid lifters are a different story

@@theaussiecardude I feel like Isuzu (who designed the dashboard) was like "Yep, you've got a simple dashboard. You got a problem with that?". Me: Well, take a look at what Volkswagen and Mazda did to their utes!". Also, I agree the post-facelift gauges and dash is better... much... much better.

@ When you look at the dash of the 2017 Colorado, you can see it’s much more like a Chevrolet, and then the dash design of the 2017 Colorado makes it feel like you’re in a bigger ute because it’s so similar to a Silverado’s dash.

@@theaussiecardude Exactly! Because when Holden refreshed the Colorado RG in 2016, they wanted it to be more based off it's Chevrolet counterpart to make it feel more familiar with Holden than Isuzu

This! And because the marketing strategy had changed at Holden from being an Australian car manufacturer, to GM’s dumping ground for their Asian export models. Every car apart from the Commodore since about 2010 was a GM rebadge, and while underneath the 2017 Colorado is the same as Isuzu still, everything above pretty much was GM. Design-wise, I approve, but cars like this marked the end of Holden imo.

@@astedneyfuicproducxion2005 Personally, I wouldn’t get an SUV for my first car unless I absolutely needed it due to circumstances, because they can be thirsty and hard to park especially a V6 like this. If I needed 7 seats (these are 7 seaters, right?) then yeah, a kluger is a good choice because they’re very reliable. If I only needed five seats however, I’d get a RAV4 because they’re cheaper in some cases and way better on fuel. No V6 though. Sad.
